Fox apparently confirmed Sylvester Williams injured his knee. To what degree, we shall see. Let it be.

Sly Williams went down - doesn't appear serious

Darren McKee ‏@dmac1043 5m
Fox says it was a knee injury for sly. Tamme out nursing a quad. Ayers had a hammy. Emphasis that manny was always the starter.

Ok 11's done - here's some observations duke ihenacho is getting a real shot. Mike adams needs to worry. Julius Thomas may make tamme

Darren McKee @dmac1043
Expendable. No joke. Tamme could be in trouble. I have no idea why Quentin jammer is here4 Retweets Expand

Darren McKee @dmac1043
All this apparently bad news for Phillip Blake. Fox says duke has been impressing. He got a big shot today and over weekend

That's his left arm. Sheepstud and Incarcerate bob are saying it's his right arm that's tiny. Also you can see the seam in his neck where his head is about fly off in a stiff breeze.

I want Sly Williams to come back fast. That kid is going to be special, I think he has every bit the same talent as Nick Fairley and should be a 7-10 sack a year guy as early as next season.

If that were true he'd be way better than Nick Fairley.

Not to mention how much damage an injury in his first TC does to his development. Very bad if long term

Very true, we saw how missing that first TC really hurt a lot of the rookies drafted during the lockout and how some players who have held out pretty much derailed their entire career.

His impact on paper definitely shot up between years 1 and 2. Was it all true development or was he on the field a lot more?

Koppen was carted off but then was trying to us pressure on it and walked into locker room. But he was carted off the field.

Certainly a combination, he did see more play but he also earned more play so it ends with a strange kind of circular logic.

If he plays all 16 games this season or even close to it, he will get at least 8 sacks.

On the other hand, I expect Wolfe will get more than that.

Khan, you will want to wear a trench coat, an old hockey goalie mask and carry some candy in your pockets and a large blunt object like a cast iron frying pan.

Fox says Gibbs has worked with Vallos before, that's the reason why they brought him in.

Definitely on board with this one. Now we've got a guy who can show the OL how it's done.

Sandy Clough says some Broncos assistants, including the "OL coach" wanted ManRam starting at Center all along.

Yeah, somehow I just don't think Vallos will be teaching our offense line all that much.

Looking at the pictures am I the only one that thinks Montee Ball looks soft and pudgy for a running back? Hasn't he had since the end of the bowl season to be hitting the gym harder?

players getting injured left and right. the players and NFLPA wanted fewer practices and less practice time, they should have realized that doesnt mean they will do less work. coaches pushing the guys harder and to get more done, and those who are not prepared are paying the price.
