Default Q. Carter to IR

#Broncos place Quinton Carter on IR and C J.D. Walton on PUP list to get down to 75-man roster limit.

They just stashed him away because we are so deep at the position.

Just speaking from history, if he really is hurt... Two years on IR in your first three isn't too encouraging in terms of coming back.

When healthy that guy is a difference maker. I don't think this is just a stash manuver.

Good for him for getting cash for doing nothing. I'd do the same thing if I could! I just wonder why the broncos are so intent on keeping him around and not waiving him with an injury settlement.

We do only get 1, but then again we need a player who could actually be healthy to play midseason to use it on - might not get another.

That's what the propagandists would have you believe. Yes, there probably tens of thousands of people who are just leaches of the system. But the truth is that a very large percentage of Americans are "working poor".

You keep telling yourself that, Maybe some of them are poor by their own choices... I.E having children they could never afford to have or just plain lazy (See those looking for hand outs on the highway exits)

Now back to topic, I am sure that this IR "stash" will not be the last one we see from the Broncos

You let that one go right over your head.

I was saying, the poster I quoted has the mind of poverty America, which in this situation is that Carter is sitting around "doing nothing" and getting paid.

I didn't think he would make this team.

From what little I have seen of his play I don't get why they don't just do an injury settlement but if they can stash him on IR and try to get him on the field next year then good for them. I just hope he worth keeping around and we get to see him be a difference maker.

I wouldn't gamble that Quinton plays again for the Broncos.
