The Broncos will carry 3 QBs, I don't think Dysert will make the practice squad, another team will snatch him up.

Quanterus Smith will make the final roster or go on IR for a "stash". My sleeper to make the roster is Aaron Hester. I think he forces Denver to trade either Tony Carter or Omar Bolden. I like Mitch Unrein, but he might not be needed now that Denver has Sly and Knighton. They would be replacing the playing time of Unrein and Bannan essentially.

DB, Great Point on Unrein, I think he is replaceable too, WR and DL and CB will be where the surprises lie.

My feeling is someone isn't going to make it out of the DB group, say T. Carter, Bolden, Q. Jammer

I think King is probably a good candidate for the PS. I agree with DB4Life that Q. Smith will go on IR for this coming season.

I also think it is a waste to keep 4 TE's this year. I think we need to cut ties with the loser of the Thomas/Green battle. 3 should be more then enough with this WR core.

I feel Bradley is in Denver strictly if Irving flops. If Irving has a great preseason than Bradley gets cut and Johnson makes the team.

I think Jackson will beat out either Unrein or Beal for a spot.

I think they'll keep L. Ball over Hester?

I agree, I have a suspicion that either Dreesen or Tamme gets the boot. They make too much to sit on the bench.

Possibly, but he is the only pure TE we have on the roster. Plus he is pretty reliable and consistent. Green and Thomas would have to show up big time this off season for them to dump him IMO. We really don't have the roster space for two potential players at the same position anymore.

I think 11 DB's is ridiculous to keep. Not all those CB's will make the cut.
I also think you're a fool if you think Q.Smith will make it to our practice squad, Dysert, meh. He might, but still doubtful.
I'd say Green, Robinson or Orton, and Bolden or Carter will be gone from your list.
Replaced with Dysert, Smith and I'm going to say another OL.

I think it's Tamme, Dreesen is a pretty complete TE. I said all along, after Welker signed that Tamme's days were numbered. Position aside, he pretty much nullified the need for him.

I assume Q. Smith wont get cut. He'll either be IR, PUP, or make the team. Same goes for Dysert. I doubt we also cut T. King to risk him on the practice squad. Orton and Robinson at WR may be expendable unless they are lights out during camp. I agree we dont need to keep 6 corners on the roster either

I think we keep a 5th RB (either Lance Boil or JJ) at the expense of a Safety. We have some CB depth that could rotate to safety in a pinch.

I don't see John not playing it safe at RB considering we are looking at having a rookie either start or push KM for playing time and starting by week 6 or so. Plus KM has yet to start a complete 16 game season. I am not a huge fan of Hester either.

You know how I feel about Hester, I mocked him to us and drafted him in the OMane draft. I think he has Brandon Browner written all over him. He's not as physical as Cam Chancellor, but Hester could play CB or S in my opinion, almost in a hybrid role. He can certainly develop his skills and play outside as a press man corner. I was very high on him and Melvin White as late round DBs. But I don't think Hester makes the 53 this year, barring an injury, but he has real potential to be a very good DB.

I 100% agree about Unrein, I think he's expendable with the addition of Sly and if Beal has a good showing, Unrein is gone, as Jackson will be listed as a DE/DT.

I would like to see Tony Carter traded for a Safety or DE or DT. I would send T Carter and Adams to New Orleans for Jenkins, or to Philly for T. Cole/ B. Grahm, or Cleveland for Billy Winn and a draft pick. There are teams in need of help of DBs and maybe we could get some quality back. Throw Mitch into the package, he could play some 3-4 SDE or 4-3 DT. All these players are odd man out, Jenkins had a rough year, plus they added Vaccaro via the draft. Philly added Barwin via free agency and won't need both Cole and Grahm, Winn looked very solid last year and he's an odd man out after the 3-4 switch and addition of Desmond Bryant. I just hope to get some value for these players.

I think Dressen is trade bait. Green is much much cheaper and his blocking might be the best on the team from the TE position. Dressen has 2 years left and so does Welker . The 2 TEs might be a thing of the past for the next two years

Only reason not to trade Dressen is for insurance purposes
I think Dressen may have the most trade value i.e complete TE

I don't get the undervaluing of Tony Carter or either Tamme or Dressen. These guys all contributed big time all year long.

Welker and Manning will make everyone else around them so much more dangerous, throw in a RB who can stay healthy and put up 1200k in his rookie year and we are set for the next 2 years. We can worry about the Ossweiler rebuild when it comes.

I don't think it's undervaluing to guess that either Dreesen or Tamme could get cut. If either Green or Thomas does just as well or better in TC, then it will make one of these vets expendable. Plus the upside of the younger guys might be too enticing to ignore.

i think they'll trade a Dreesen or Tamme before they cut one of them. they have value in a trade, not high value but i'm sure we could get a 4th or 5th for one of them.

Carter's value is higher if he is playing outside, DRC would have to get hurt for him to get that position. I just think Webster, Bolden, or even Jammer could step in a pinch and fill his role on the game at CB. We really have 4 corner backs (Webster, Bolden, Carter, and Hester) fighting for the 4th corner back position. Carter is the most valuable of the 4 in terms of what Denver can get back in trade. We would be foolish not to explore the option of trading him away if the other three step up.

As for Dreessen he is the best of the blocking TE's. Green is the only TE that is a threat to him in that area. This is Green's best chance at passing Dreessen on the depth chart, if he does then Dreessen can be moved I guess.
