No extra points for hitting a stationary cop car at 40 mph? Come on bro.

prairie dog - 1 point
mailbox - 5 points
car - 10 points
person - 100 points
cop car (with cop in it) - 5000 points

Why? Most don't have the backing of a player. Some are like your postman. You like him, he does a good job but I am not going to reach out to save his job. These guys, especially our Player Personel Guy , is supposed to be the one making sure we don't get stuck with **** like this and he goes out and does it himself! How is he going to stand up and judge when he did it himself? I don't want a hypocrite around and if he gets canned, it is all on him.

As for Matty, anyone spot a little Casino Royale in his posts? I know there wasn't as many ZZZZZs in it but I felt like Matty was a player rapper just out of jail....like Casino Royale.

Seriously? This team is poised to win a SB. All eyes should be on a common goal. Off-season or not. The FO should be held to even higher standards than the players.

Leadership...should be leading by example.
Well the owner is a notorious drinker and the head of football operations is a well known party boy so there is that.

A player-
can be fined. (by courts and League)
can be released.
can be suspended.
can go to prison.

A FO guy-
can be fired.

Nearly everyone here says FO guys should be held to a higher standard I want to chuckle at it. To what end? The punishments for either are the same. I am not condoning DUI's, btw. Both of these idiots should lose their jobs. But I feel the same way about players who get DUI's. To work for an NFL franchise is a privilege. The real joke here is that if a normal person gets a DUI, the time and money spent can be life wrecking. Unless you play a professional sport. Then the worst thing that could happen is you have to move and play/work for another team.

So spare me the indignant attitude and come on, bros.

There are plenty of professions that if you get a DUI, you will lose your job (School Teachers, Doctors, Nurses, Pharmacists, Truck Drivers, etc.), and even more that won't hire you if you have a DUI on record.

Do you think Goodell would be fired if he ran into a cop car with a BAC of 0.246? Of course he would be.

Given the aggravated nature of the DUI (he hurt a cop) and extraordinary BAC , I believe there is no choice but for the Broncos to fire Russell.

I think NFL players are given leeway a) because they are normally very young, and b) because they would not be able to gain meaningful employment elsewhere.

Matt Russell could easily use his skills to latch on somewhere else in the future in college or the pros.

If Elway did that, I'd expect him to resign. It just doesn't sit right. I could live with Heckert's, but not Russell's. As strange as that may seem.

Wow, today I was down in the dumps, kids at grandparents, wife being stupid, work is hell...then g4 comes on here and I read all his gibberish...my life isn't so bad after all. Its actually pretty damn good, when comparing it to his...and from this day forward, whenever I'm feeling down, I can always remind myself that at least I don't have a rap sheet, jail time, a 200k bill, and think that all of life revolves around swag, roids, and number of venereal diseases I can acquire. Thanks g4.

It's not strange. Heckert got a run-of-the-mill DUI. Russell committed a hit and run along with vehicular assault against a police officer on the way to getting his DUI.

I don't think he ever wrecked a car, but John did get a few "courtesy rides home" after DPD stops in the 80s.

Don't forget the pedophilia from post 277 and of course Doc labeling him "hopechest" for his wise choice in tattoos.

Further more, I expect more from a grown ass man than a 22 year old.

Especially relating to alcohol.

I'm sorry, are you claiming to shoulder press 345?

Because I'm pretty sure Hercules didn't do that.

And from your pics you're approx at half of each of those numbers (1/3 of the shoulder press)

And yes, it's been sold out dramatically more than it's been available and we're well into 5 digits sold and, in case you're extra curious, I haven't taken a cent and have given it all to the charity, but keep it classy man

Also Matty, sorry for the late reply. I was spending the night with my girlfriend.

Unlike you who was someone's girlfriend. In prison.

Hopechest is beyond epic. Though the rant where he challenges everyone to post pics of themselves and then uses the words "no body" over and over was a nice follow up.
