After everything the Broncos did for him, I laughed.

non story, good for Mays. He will be good depth and a special teams demon. Nothing wrong with the guy besides the fact he isn't a very good starting MLB.

Anytime you get benched then injured, then cut and have to take a huge pay reduction is going to leave a sour taste in your mouth. That's the NFL.

losing out on $4milion dollars will leave a sour taste in anyone's mouth. Glad he's gone.

If Mays had Keith Brooking's brains & instincts, he not only would still be here, he would be our next Al Wilson, maybe better. But obviously he does not, so he found out the hard way that overpaid backups, masquerading as starters in the NFL, get cut.

Yeah you are right. Looking at Mays he looks like a LBer, great build, strength, speed. He just doesn't have the instincts.

It's a big disappointment to me if a former Bronco trashes the team on his way out of town -- particularly when he's been given more opportunities in Denver than he would have had with most teams.

Mays? Who? Dead to me.

His words give the impression of butthurt entitlement -- as if he feels the team owed him something that they didn't follow through on.

Where did I say GREAT speed. He has good straight line speed. He does not seem to have good agility. I think his lateral speed though is not very good. That is a huge problem. He can cover kicks really well. Considering the Texans are probably paying him about $1 million a year they got a good deal.

It's semantics... when the adjective "great" precedes "build, strength, speed", it can be perceived as "intended to define all 3 nouns".

Maybe that sour taste was from a plate of Rocky Mountain Oysters he sucked down on his way out of town, it surly wasn't from his treatment by the FO.

Can't be pissed anymore. I'm just glad he's gone. And he's with one of our biggest threats to the AFC. Let him screw their defense up come week 16 and the playoffs.

If I won the lottery one year, but then didn't win it the next year, I wouldn't be sour at the lottery system. I'd be too busy swimming in my money.

What a ****ing a-hole. The Broncos made him rich. He should have been out of the league 2 years ago.

Maybe he should've listened to the fans like he said he would and learn how to tackle.
