Default Oakland @ Denver (MNF)

It looks like a training TDY is headed my way and it lines up very nicely with the MNF game against the Raiders. I'm looking at flying in on 20th, spending Saturday and Sunday at Riot Fest (BONUS!) and capping off my trip watching the Broncos smash the Raiders on Monday Night.

Hotel: I'm considering splitting up the trip between Hotels in Denver and camping (sleeping in a rental car) at the festival.

Which hotels do you prefer that won't break the bank?

Tickets: Where should I buy and which section should I be sitting in?

That would be "America's Best" ... Not really near anything in Denver though.

If he wants to stay downtown, Hotel Monoco is a safe bet. Downtown and they have cheaper rooms. Of course, we're comparing $30 to $100.

But I'm sure there are motels just as cheap that are closer in.

$100 isn't bad and it's something I am willing to pay.

If you can get a room at Hotel Monaco for $100.let me know.. Ain't happening. That show is out east (Byers) I would suggest somewhere in between ..maybe the Embasy Suites by Stapleton or something

I'm still on the fence on whether or not I will attend the festival.

My cheapest option would be booking a room at Buckley AFB and getting a rental car.

What about stadium sections?

Best hotel in Denver is the Mon Chalet on east Colfax. Oh, and make sure to check out the pool while you're there...

There's not a bad seat in the house. Depends on what you want to pay. 50 yard line seats are more expensive then 10 yard line seats. Then lower level is more than upper level. I sit around the 15 in the upper and my seats are fine. I would just browse stubhub/ticketexchange and see what you're willing to pay.
