Default Congrats on a good season...

Yes, if it were me I'd be telling you to eat a reproductive male organ.

I get it.

I've been there.

That said even in a "down year" Denver won the division, locked up spot 2 in playoff seeding, and found a solid (if not pro bowl) HB for the future.

The good news is that (so far) Elway has been about as good a head of football operations as you could have. Manning had this team built for him.

I don't see Elway getting stupid now. Brock isn't it. Trade up, get your QBOTF, and let him sit behind 5head for a year.

That offense could score 30+ pts 8 weeks a year with Neck-Beard behind center.

Get your future QB, get young on D, and save that rollover cap.

It's not like anyone else in the division is getting any better...

There are no QB's of the future in this draft, at least not in the 1st round.

No, we will follow the Colts "Suck for Luck" plan if Brock doesn't work out.

you gotta plan it right so you don't end up with an eric fisher type first overall pick though

This season wasn't even as good as the one Tebow had. That one was way more exciting and at least had a playoff victory.

That is why Del Rio going there is Elways secret plan to ruin their defense.

Nice post, wish there were more kFc fans like you.

I think they can find a way to compete but there are going to be a lot of changes.

This was not a good season. It was a waste of a season with a coach who should've been fired a year ago.

He should have hit E. Sanders at least 3 times down the right sideline. Manning just couldn't lay the ball where it needed to be.

Go look at the throw Brady made for billy boy. That isn't coaching, that is a perfectly thrown ball for a TD.

great post from an opposing fan's perspective... Elway has some tough decisions to make this off season, no doubt about that.

All joking aside Elway has drafted talent.

You could argue he's done the best in the draft, in the AFCW, since he took the job.

That offense with any legit starter at QB scores enough to win.

The Denver D isn't up to par and you won't be winning any playoff games until it is. The Colts/Luck are turnover machines and the Denver D couldn't impose its will at home.

That's the truff of it...

We have the talent, on defense. I just think we ran a horrible game plan. If the Raiders want Del Rio, they can have him...

But ended in the same round...

And no, it wasn't as exciting. Losing 8 games and getting to the Divisional Round is not better than losing 4 and...getting to the Divisional Round.

We also got to see Manning set the career TD record; the emergence of some young players like Marshall, Anderson, Bolden, Bruton, and Roby; and Elway rear his ruthless head!

I doubt much changes until our ownership demands competing at every level, and doing all the little things it takes to be solid enough in enough areas of the game to compete. So far we still seem more inclined to make excuses than getting it done.

We'll see if they do anything in this off season that doesn't make them the laughing stock of the league (again) and claim we had no choice because of the cap. We'll see if they know they simply can't take another Fisher #1 overall (not that we're there), but certainly not even with our own #1 pick.
