Amazing man though he is a self made millionaire and everyone has to respect that. Oh i know liberals don't unless you are al gore.
Oh I think there is at least one self made millionaire that Gore doesn't respect, David Siegel. Of course Siegel is questioning his tactics also now.

The current manifestion of "the right" doesn't even understand Ronald Reagan, let alone George Orwell.

Orwell didn't make privacy and individuality important. He simply saw that it was and painted a picture of it. He saw what many of us see. I think at the end of the day, works like 1984 get the status they do because allegory and parable is easier than philosophy.

Gingrich completely missed the mark and showed his ignorance.....for the umpteenth time. He should have stuck with a fellow loon like Ayn Rand.
To get to Ayn Rand's level, you'd have to soak your brain in booze for twenty years.

You know the funny thing is I specifically thought about mentioning how Brit's characterization of Pony Boy sounded a lot like some of the tards you see spouting Bible verses from anti-Christian websites without having any clue what they really mean.

But I was trying to avoid the stupid pissing match. Guess I should know better.

I don't recall mentioning Pony, let alone 'characterizing' him. You can only be talking about this post and my comment about Gingrich.

It's curious that the far right has taken to quoting their ideological opposite, showing, as usual, they rarely understand what they read.

Gingrich made a total ass of himself demonstrating how he completely misunderstands Orwell and '1984' in attempt to discredit universal healthcare.

The rest of your post makes no sense at all. How unusual.
