Oh Lawd He's still doing this -

"Tom E. Curran @tomecurran
scramble in 7 on 7 to hoots from defensive sideline.

9:25 AM - 26 Jul 2013"

Unless tebow can make a successful switch to TE,he isn't making the team. The patriots have nothing to gain by keeping him on the team otherwise. They're not going pay someone to be a locker room cheerleader. Sympathy for tebow can only go so far.

Tebow has been so bad in training camp they have moved him around to different positions. The longer he is in the NFL the more AMAZING it is that somehow Denver scrapped 8 wins with him under C and a playoff win.

considering that basically the same lineup won 13 games with a real franchise QB it's not that amazing.....

I bet tebow makes the opening day roster to collect his nfl pension
Only to be cut soon thereafter

I understand 4 years in you get an nfl pension

Funny part is I wrote about that in Fox first year coach at training camp.

Well Manning is an absolute guarantee of Double digit wins despite the talent on the roster. 8 wins with zero QB play is amazing. In reality that team was a lot closer to 4 wins than 13.

Im sure if just given a chance he's gonna be great and that horrendous picture above can be easily fixed by Vinny.

Man I really feel bad for Tebow. I wanted him to have success in the NFL cause if anyone deserved it, well he did. But damn, he doesn't even look like the same QB that he was at Florida. Oh well, wish I could have been as unlucky(bad) as him in the NFL and bank that money.

I already did here:

http://www.orangemane.com/BB/showthread.php?p=3879544

In short, the 2011 defense was much, much better than 2010 D. The stats don't show it because the team was hamstrung by poor QB play.

I think Orton uncharacteristically turning the ball over more than he had previously in Denver, and Tebow being inept at throwing the ball hurt us in our losses to Oakland (3 pt. loss), Titans (3 pt. loss), Chargers, Bills (turnovers allowed Bills to blow game open), and Chiefs (7-3 loss).

That puts us at 13-3

Umm, I included Orton in the post saying that his bad play, and Tebow's hurt us in 5 of our losses.....

The deal is if Manning is your QB you are more likely to win 12 plus games than under 10. 9 seasons of 12 or more. Only 2 under 10 one being his rookie year on the worst team in the league. Denver had a good enough defense just needed the missing piece.
