I think he's far too inaccurate and the slow to understand reads/playbook would preclude him from even starting under Shanahan. Someone a few years back compared TT to Bradlee Van Pelt. From a passing skills standpoint, I'm not so sure it's that far off. TT has a better deep pass than BVP, but I'd see him still taking a BVP role under Shanahan.

Unless you were talking about playing RB. Then sure, 2k in this system and all that

If Tebow can win a playoff game not remembering the plays just think what he would do if he remembered them. Right now Timmy has 1 more playoff win for us them manning so we better see something in the playoffs this yr.

Always liked Mallet. Wasn't it a 2nd rounder they were wanting for him.

I think how far a team goes is a better measuring stick. Neither passed the divisional round.

Yeah and the Browns didn't have one.

Tim forgets plays because they are inferior plays -- any play besides "Tebow run ball" and "Maybe Tebow run ball, take a look first" is a wasted play. And therefore, a forgotten play.

A championship would team would test its offense by seeing which plays Tebow could remember, and running only those.

I don't always agree with Dr. Broncenstein but when I do it's usually because he's kicking everyone's ass all over the place.

Love him or hate him aside. You implied that Tebow "fooks up locker rooms".

That's pretty much not true.......

Just part of Elway's master plan to take down the Pats from the inside like they did to us with McD. Nothing to see here.

Personally, I am much more worried that we have a coach who is afraid to lose then I am about a 3rd string QB

If I was into that sort of thing, it might be fun to go to a Pats board, start a "Tebow should be starting!!!1!!1!" thread, and, you know, see what happens.

I mean anytime the Pas take Brady off the field for Tebow that team gets worse. That is great news for the rest of the NFL. As a Broncos fan I'm excited for that.
So Tebow is "very inspiring"......yet he is terrible for a locker room?

How does that work?

Seems to me that guys who are terrible locker room guys would NOT be very inspiring......

Honestly, I love me some Tebow. I'm SO GLAD he's not here anymore. I would have loved to see a team like the Jags make a commitment to him as their starter, and run with him for a year or two. That would have become my second favorite team in the league.

Unfortunately, I think I'm like most rational Tebow fans. They'll pull for him, as long as he's not on their team.

Will he ever be a good NFL QB. Probably not.

Does he "fook up" locker rooms? Of course not. Even you said he was "inspiring". And yes, despite his inadequacies as a QB.....he is still an INSPIRING football player. Grit, work ethic, never-quit attitude. Too bad more talented players didn't have that.......

A good quarterback has a certain look about him when he gets to his back foot in a drop, almost a bobbing motion as he reverses his momentum and rights himself.

It looks a little more conventional. The footwork looks a little better.

In other words, championship.
There is a big difference. For one, he's holding the ball differently on his drop back and he's releasing the ball differently too. Pretty much QB 101 stuff. As for the footwork, it is better. The thing is, will he continue this in games or will he revert back to his old habbits?

Third string QBs don't get press conferences. Tebow does. Tebow is a third string QB. That causes problems in the locker room. If you think our locker room wasn't split between Orton and Tebow you are a ****ing fool. If you think the Jets locker room loved having a back up player in the headlines every day you are a ****ing fool.

His book and work he does outside of football in regards to the lord is inspiring. That has jack **** to do with football. Believe it or not it is possible to be INSPIRING out side of a ****ing football game. Which is WAY more important than football. So yes Tim Tebow is INSPIRING.
