Love Von, and it's close, but Luck.

That would have been something. Liked the ride in 2011 for what it was worth.

We have no reason to confirm or deny that Osweiler is going to be a great QB. Could be just as good of a QB as Luck or the other 3 that played last year. Looking forward to him playing some garbage snaps in the regular season.

I like how it all turned out so far with Manning coming to Denver, and teaming with Von, Wolfe and Brock (mainly because that's what did actually happen and we can't undo it).....however if we could have drafted Luck over any of those? Luck, every single time....because we're talking about the the guy who was graded higher than any other draft pick in history that wasn't named Elway.

Luck would have been too good to pass up.

Whatever includes Von is my pick. Look at the two QB's in the SB last year. Not saying they weren't good but they aren't what Luck is looking like he'll be. But both had very good defenses.

Baltimore had the best talent end to end for the last 10 years and never reached the Super Bowl with QBs like Boller, Blake, McNair, Grbac Banks finally hitting on Flacco

Shanny did the same thing for 10 years until deciding to give up the farm for RGIII.

(editorial comment: Jay Cutler is a coach killer and last year had a very icy relationship with Tice. I think this year he better step up or a player will take a swing on the emo QB)

Give me the stud All Pro QB and if the FO has any type of competency they can build a championship team around him

Last decade

Brees, Manning(s), Rothlisberger, Rodgers, Brady

and I'm including Luck in that type of QB

Gee I see a pattern here when it comes to teams in the Super Bowl

You honestly think Shanny had top talent end to end and only lacked a qb for 10 years

You take away Jake Plummer and add RGIII and Denver goes to multiple Superbowls.

Which says more about Shanahans coaching ability than it does the roster quality IMO.

I am in agreement. If Peyton wins a super bowl or 2 all the while mentoring Osweiler into something special, plus the baddest pass rusher/DE/LB in the league right now that hasn't even hit his prime. There is no part of me that would be disappointed at not having Luck

I am not as high on Luck as so many are. He is already being heralded as a HOF QB and while he is good I don't personally think he will be an all time great. I don't even think he will go down as the best of his draft class. I'd take RGIII and Wilson over him today and would take Osweiler with 3+ seasons of mentoring by 2 of the greatest to strap on a helmet over him as well.

Luck's for real. It was evident his soph year in college. Barring catastrophic injury or the league being legislated out of existence, I have a hard time seeing how he won't be extremely special.

Depends if we win a SB then Mabning, Von and whoever. If no SB win Luck. Now how was Denver going to get Luck anyway? If we are playing this game give me Rogers and wr wouldn't have Luck or Von.

I don't consider Rothlisberger in that group but out of all of them over the past 10 years, he's the only one that has won twice and out of all of them had the best defenses.

If you said that for the Mane as a whole, there would be very few threads.

how many college QBs have looked like the **** in college only to arrive in the NFL and turn to nothing? a great college career, and a strong rookie year is not indicative of long term future success. I just can't get excited for rookie QBs until at least 3 seasons in the league. I care very little about your college career, it is what you are doing in the pros that matters. Sam Bradford a few years ago was looked at as a franchise guy, now he is a year away from being in a competition for his job.

I like that Osweiler gets to play the role of a sponge and just soak up all he can from Elway and Manning. that is a tutelage that is unrivaled. if he puts in the work, 2-3 years from now, Osweiler is the steal of his draft and probably the top dog out of all the QBs

Brock will be holding a clip board the duration of his rookie contract, how anyone can get excited about him I don't know. I'd rather we spent our second round pick on someone contributing to the roster. A safety in the Baltimore game would have been great.

I'll take what we have now only subtract rahim moore.

It's still kind of weird and interesting going from despising yet respecting Peyton Manning for 10 years to just absolutely freaking loving him.
