Default Rahim Moore ... Secret Superstar?

Pro Football Focus's "Secret Superstar" feature says he is ....

Quote:
Secret Superstar: Rahim Moore

Can one play define a player’s career? That is the dilemma we face with our latest Secret Superstar, Rahim Moore. The Denver Broncos’ second-year safety proved himself to be one of the best at his position in 2012. He attacked his biggest weakness from a rough rookie season and turned it into a strength. In doing so, he earned positive grades in all aspects of his game.

Yet to most fans, Moore’s name is synonymous with one of the most embarrassing plays in NFL postseason history.

He played well last season. I wouldn't call him a "superstar" secret or otherwise, but all the people claiming he's bad because he had one bad play are idiots.

Yes. Moore turned in a very good season on the whole.

Unless he has like 9+ INT's this year, I don't see him ever redeeming himself in the eyes of this fanbase. He could be for someone else possibly though.

This fanbase needs to pull their heads out of their asses and realize you don't dump a quality safety because he has one bad play in the playoffs.

I don't know, but like yerner said, it's a cool article ... detailed nutshell on all of Moore's career ups and downs thus far. Interesting some of you guys knew he played well and was improving ... I still thought of him as an undisciplined, unproven, poor-tackling wild child. Now I'm fairly confident he might beat out Quentin Jammer after all.

I agree, he was definitely a 75-80 on Madden. Mediocre but not "bad"

he played well last year

he just better not ignore the receiver streaking down the field and just go for the ball anymore

Tony Romo was forgiven by Cowboys supporters for a playoff loss that was 100% his fault. In fact, Jerry Jones just gave him a huge extension, so I think redemption is possible.

Looking forward to seeing him improve on ball skills, and hopefully add a little bulk.

I laugh at people blaming him for the Ravens loss. Champ Bailey is the reason we lost that game. He sucked.

There are a dozen reasons we "Lost" that game. However, Rahiim Moore was in a unique position to WIN the game on ONE play. He didn't LOSE it, but he also didn't WIN it.

Lactuallynif you read the article it states he had two bad plays...I like Moore ..its not all Moore's fault we lost that game, and I see him playing even better this year.

Moore going into his 3rd yr. I am expecting a huge leap in play. Time to get his hand on some footballs. Anything less then 5 picks I will be bummed.

i can understand why Moore taking heat. When the team blows it on a big play its usually the safety who has the last shot at making a play. Several chances to win the game though so plenty of blame to go around. The silver lining is Moore probably pissed off and will use that this yr to show people he can play. He will have a lot to prove.

A year after spending some Sundays as a healthy scratch, Moore played more snaps in 2012 than any other Broncos defender. Often lining up deep as Denver’s last line of defense, Moore allowed just 0.46 Yards Per Coverage Snap and surrendered a first down or touchdown on only 1.64% of his snaps. At the same time, he frequently showed the speed and instincts to provide support against backfield screens. And when he got to the point of attack, he sealed the deal.
After amassing 11 missed tackles in 43 attempts in 2011 (including the playoffs), Moore had just eight in 96 attempts in 2012. Amazingly, he’d transformed himself from one of the worst-tackling safeties in the league into one of the best. And with a +9.0 grade in the regular season that tied for the 10th-highest of any safety, he was one of the more promising young defenders in the league. This would have been the lasting image of Moore heading into the upcoming season, except for the outcome of one play.
I look for him to play very well this year.

He's a very promising young defender. If you want to get rid of him based on one play you need to get the **** over it.

I'm not feeling his game as even a good Free Safety let alone a "Super Star!"
