As much as I love watching the Chefs fail, they'll be one of the more improved teams this year. Still no real threat to challenge the top 10 teams in the league (including us). Although they have a small-handed Brian Griese game manager clone at QB, he's better than Cassel, Dr. Quinn and ****ing Stanza the mascot. I think the Chefs play .500 ball and will probably be a .500 ish team for the next several years. They have some pretty decent individual pieces of talent (Bowe, Charles, Albert, Hali etc.) Top to bottom they have a better roster than SD and the team will benefit greatly from Andy Reid's presence.

I think the Jets are in trouble, too.

Good point. That is why I wouldn't be heart broken if the Bills get the #1 pick this year.

I think it really is a toss up between the Chiefs and Raiders and wouldn't be surprised in the least if it's SD. I picked the Chiefs because they had those players you mentioned last year. Not sure Reid's coaching style meshes with what he's got.

I predict the Eagles will have the worse record.

I see a .500 ish team in Philly (assuming Chip Kelly doesn't completely **** the bed of course). I think he'll utilize a lot of one read up tempo stuff with Vick, DeShawn Jackson and McCoy. They've got Chris Polk to spell McCoy. I think Ertz is going to be one of the next big playmaking TE's in the league. Defensively DeMarco Ryans is very good. Again, not a world beater, but definitely not Oakland.

While I don't agree just because there is some talent there, at the same time, I wouldn't be completely shocked if you were right. Chip Kelley has a lot of pressure on him, but he'll be a breath of fresh air after being stagnant under too much Reid, for too long.

However, in a weird way, the departure of Reid may possibly help two teams. Philly where he over-stayed his welcome, and the chiefs, where they actually will have a real NFL coach & QB. Something they haven't had for years.

OTOH, it is entirely possible they both suck to high heaven.

Yep. He can go be a beast for a team far away from the afc west.

Don't see how it isn't the Jaguars.

Jaguars battled teams last year, usually without MJD, you get a healthy MJD back and a Gus Bradley defense, they won't even be the worst in their division.

The Raiders lost all of these players, their 1st round pick is already having health concerns and they were the 3rd worst team in the league last year.

They are a true bet to pick 1st.

the Chiefs won't be picking in the top 5 next year. They improved a lot just by getting Reid.

I don't think they'll be anywhere near one of the worst teams in the league, but it wouldn't surprise me if the 49ers were disappointing this season. I could see Kaepernick having a Newton-esque letdown season, especially without Crabtree. Their defense should still be very good though.

Maybe, maybe not, but I assure you, they will be picking in the top 10.

The Jaguars will spar with Oakland for that #1 over-all.

In the west, Andy Reid is a good coach. The Chiefs will add 5-6 wins to their win total, maybe more with the right bounce. San Diego is impossible to read, and McCoy is untested at the big-boy table.

So Reid's teams don't end up in the top 10?

Only 3 losing seasons in 14 years as a HC says a lot.

I don't doubt he's an upgrade from what you had, but IMO his best days are in the past. The last thing Alex smith needs to do in a game is pass downfield, and that's all Reid does.
