Bridgewater was smart to avoid that mess in miami. He went to a winning program.

Shane Morris looks decent for Michigan at QB, but their defense hasn't been able to stop Kansas State on any single drive in the first half.

Kansas State leads 21-6.

I don't think Houston is all that cracked up to be.
Ben Tate is a free agent and likely gone, Arian Foster is having nagging injuries now it seems, new scheme, etc.

Texas Coaching Search
Quote:
Hughes has vetted about six to eight coaching candidates, the source said. Four names believed to be on that list are Baylor’s Art Briles, Florida State’s Jimbo Fisher, Louisville’s Charlie Strong and Vanderbilt’s James Franklin. UT’s level of interest in any of those candidates is unknown at this point.

Loving the UM hate...

But I will say...anyone who thinks this team is the same with true freshman Shane Morris as Devin Gardner is a dumb dumb.

They game Morris nothing but safe throws. Didn't want to break their 5 star QB in his first start.

Morris isn't the issue people had with the team. Borges and his play calling is.
Gardner is the superstar of the team. But the best play call all night was the half back pass on the fake reverse.

And why is that?

With a true freshman...the playbook shrinks.

Kansas State is a decent team, especially with Snyder.

Big12 is a solid conference.

But, my Bison rule. Put NDSU in the MWC conference and they do better than most all teams in it. Nuff said.

I figured Duke would put up a good fight vs Texas A&M....I didn't expect this.

Easy to root for their football team w/Ed McCaffrey's son on the squad.

Basketball....not so much.

Texas A&M 52 Duke 48.

Terrific second half. Best bowl so far. Feel bad for fellow ACC mates in Duke. They played very, very well in this game. Too bad they couldn't pull it off.
