Coach O said he acted at Ole Miss what he thought a coach was supposed to be like. He is now acting how he wants to act. Big difference. If we are to judge coaches by their first big act as a head coach, we would never have had Shanahan and Seattle would not have Pete Carroll.

Miami Game

Remember when I told you Vegas was stupid to have us at -18 against Wake Forest and that Wake Forest could easily win (Miami came back to edge them, 24-21) and that Vegas was stupid to have us -9 at UNC when it was going to be an absolute war, and when I said Duke would beat us last week? So Vegas is again apparently in the mood to give away free money as the casinos are posing as Santa a little bit early. Miami is favored by 19.5 against Virginia this week. If you want to make some easy money, take Virginia at +19.5. There is absolutely no ****ing way we will cover that. Miami SHOULD win the game, but it will be probably around 7-10 points. In the last three games, our defense has given up a total of 1600 yards (this would be terrible even over 4 games) and given up over 40 points to three straight opponents, two of which have weak offenses. Virginia WILL get its points (even though they are like 2-8). Mike London has also had our number the last two years for some weird reason. He just has a hex on Golden.

Miami 38, Virginia 30 (take the points, its FREE money)

#16 Northern Illinois (10-0 overall and 6-0 MAC) take on my Toledo Rockets (7-3 overall and 5-1 MAC) tonight in the Glass Bowl at 8 PM Eastern Time on ESPN 2.

Should be a good game if anyone is looking for their Wednesday football fix.

Northern Illinois has won 23 straight conference games....it's time for the Rockets to end that streak.

I'm hoping RB David Fluellen is back for Toledo after missing a few games due to injuries, but if not, freshman RB Kareem Hunt has filled in nicely, with 4 straight games of 100+ yards rushing. Hunt has had 595 yards rushing in those 4 games (6.8 yards per carry), as well as 6 rushing TDs.

On defense, the Rockets have seen redshirt freshman NT Treyvon Hester dominate the last several games, tying up multiple blockers and freeing up the linebackers to make plays. I look for the 6'3 and 290 pound redshirt freshman to be a solid pro prospect when he's done playing college ball.

Overall some pro prospects/interesting players to watch for the Rockets are: C Zac Kerin, RB David Fluellen and RB Kareem Hunt (only a freshman), WR/KR/PR Bernard Reedy, WR Alonzo Russell (sophomore), the previously mentioned redshirt freshman NT Treyvon Hester, DE Jayrone Elliott, and Will LB Junior Sylvestre.

And it's not even close, next highest total is 19. The dude is running at 6.5 YPA too. Just crazy to see after how futile CSU's last decade has been for the most part with two minor blips in 2005 and 2008 where they at least became (barely) bowl eligible.

It's ridiculous that he isn't even on any Heisman watch lists despite accounting for more point production than AJ McCaron, who is on almost every watch list out there. I guess that comes with the MWC territory, but if he keeps up this ridiculous pace for his last 2 games, one would hope that the nation will take notice.

Plus he's only a sophomore. Here's to hoping for some national relevancy soon.

Northern Illinois misses a 47 yard FG right before the half.

Rockets lead 10-7 at the half.

Northern Illinois drives right down the field to start the 2nd half.

That was too easy for the Huskies.

Northern leads 14-10.

Nice answer by Toledo....pound the ball down the field to set up a Terrance Owens to Bernard Reedy TD pass.

Rockets lead 17-14.

I'm tired of watching Northern Illinois dominate the MAC.

Feels like it did back when Marshall was kicking ass in the MAC in the late 90s and early 2000s.

I don't really hate Northern Illinois, I'm more tired of seeing them beat my Rockets every season.

Northern Illinois is actually good for the conference, as they get the MAC attention and exposure.

DNA testing links Jameis Winston to accuser per ESPN.

http://espn.go.com/college-football/...inston-accuser

As Scooby Doo might say...."ruh roh". Jacob Coker is out for the year and Trickett transferred in the spring. They got nothing behind him.....Sean Maguire would be the guy. It would be funny seeing a 3rd stringer start the title game.

A guy playing in an extremely weak conference on a 6-5 team likely isn't going to be on the Heisman list.

Sure is fun watching him destroy the opponents every Saturday though.

That game last week was just ridiculous.

I watched a lot of the Navy and San Jose State game on Friday Night Football.

Navy won 58-52 in 3 OTs.

Exciting game....Navy QB Keenan Reynolds ran for 240 yards and 7 rushing TDs (and he threw for another TD).

San Jose State QB David Fales threw for 440 yards and 5 TDs.

Good back and forth game.

I think San Jose State QB David Fales is going to be a solid NFL QB.

Michigan and Iowa are tied 7-7 in the 2nd quarter.

It would be nice to win this game to move Michigan to 8-3 on the season going into the Ohio State game.

That would probably mean an 8-4 season and a cheesy bowl game.

I want them to win this game though....for some reason 8-4 seems a lot better than 7-5, which is only one game away from a .500 season.

Even if Michigan was 8-4 going into their bowl game, they don't feel like they are having an 8-4 season.

The season has felt like a .500 season to me.

Virginia outplaying us so far. Told you already to take them at + 19.5. Vegas was in the mood to be robbed. Hope you took my advice.

14-13 in the second quarter.

#13 Michigan State is only up 7-3 over Northwestern in the 2nd quarter.

I had a feeling Northwestern would make this a close game.

The Wildcats are better than their record indicates and this is the kind of game that Sparty comes out and plays uninspired football when they should be sticking their foot on a team's neck and solidifying themselves as one of the better teams in the country.

This team is such ****ing garbage. They have absolutely no business being up 8 at this point. They got two freak plays, one of which was a fourteen point swing. They should be down 10 to UVA at this point.

Get the **** off my screen.

Fresno state and Northern Illinois both have their QBs on a watch list (yeah, I know undefeated teams that are actually ranked, but how much more can an RB do on a team that has only barely squeaked into a bowl game 3 times in the past decade and has).

I'm not saying he needs to be near the top, but he isn't even in the top 14 players on ESPN's heisman watch list which includes 3 RBs, 2 of which he has clearly outplayed.

Devin Gardner throws a 9 yard TD pass to Jeremy Gallon on 3rd and goal before the half.

Jeremy Gallon has had an excellent season for Michigan.

Michigan leads 21-7.
