I have a coworker who is an Oregon fan and alum. I'm not going to help him tomorrow with anything. You hurt my teams recruiting you don't get any assistance on anything. I'm dead serious. This is a big ****ing deal.
Oh boy. FSU has to beat Florida. Wake, Syracuse and Idaho will be easy.

I still don't get how Stanford can be so good in DI football. That's a brainiac Top 5 US college. It's direct rivals are Harvard, Princeton, Penn, Georgetown, and Duke. Vanderbilt is probably the closest "top" college with a somewhat decent program (not really).

I guess every athletic 4.0 high school student that crushes his SATs and has the extra-curriculars just goes to Stanford. I'm just amazed how good they are only taking the intellectual elite.

There are plenty of smart football players. The problem before was that the football program was seen as just there.
Now they have successfully cultivated a environment of pride and achievement.
Plus people forget, California is a huge talent state, they also get guys from Arizona(which is underrated as a state), Texas and a few other close states.
Stanford started to pull in guys that USC,UCLA & Cal were getting.

Jameis might have an off day..............

REally can't wait for next year playoff though. Baylor is going to get screwed this year after such a great run!

True. Not only are they very fast, they are also quite physical. I'm not a Mizzou fan, but they have the talent EVERYWHERE to be a great dark horse pick, and yes, they could beat Bama.

Stanford vs Ohio State could be the best Rose Bowl of all time.

Florida has an excellent D but they can't score at all. I can't see them topping 14. FSU will prolly end up in the mid to high 20s.

As far as recruiting goes, I think MIA has done a better job getting top end guys so far. I think you even have two more 4* guys (ESPN ranking). We have a lot of offers out to big named players. Hopefully a national championship brings more into the fold.

Some of you have been following the O'Bannon litigation. The federal judge has issued a split decision. The players cannot be certified as a whole class in seeking past damages against the NCAA for likenesses used etc., but the door has been opened for prospective sharing of profits going forward (TV money etc. ) by certifying the class action suit challenging the NCAA restrictions on student athlete compensation. That suit will now be allowed to go forward.

Depending on the result of future litigation, this has the potential to completely change college sports.

Fairly high likelihood that Will Muschamp gets fired this week if FLA cannot mount a massive comeback. They are down at home in the Swamp to Vandy 17-3 right before the half and very few fans are there. If they lose, they'd be 4-5.

The Bullgators up there in Hogtown won't stand for that.

K-State is light years from the season-opening loss to North Dakota State. Just when I think it's about time for Bill Snyder to take up golfing full time, the team does this.

In Bill I Trust...

The way USC is playing now just proves that Lane Kiffin was the problem.

USC looks very good the last few weeks. I still think it would be a mistake to make Orgeron permanent.

Every one in the universe knew he was the problem.
It takes a special kind of idiot to recruit 4-5 star talent at every position and still **** it up.

By far best defensive game for Nebraska this year as they snap Michigan's home winning streak (19, never lost with Brady Hoke). Held Michigan to -21 rushing, overcame another afternoon of godawful special teams.

Sparty may be too much to handle if Martinez isn't back and playing at at least 80%, but pleasantly surprised by today and have to feel that they will at least have a puncher's chance.
