Stanford is straight up throttling Oregon. Even if they can come back and win, I think it's pretty obvious they do not match up with Alabama in any way.

This is ****ing awful. They just put FSU in the title game.

And if Bama trips up, you can crown FSU because they'll beat the crap out of OSU or Baylor.

I have a coworker who is an Oregon fan and alum. I'm not going to help him tomorrow with anything. You hurt my teams recruiting you don't get any assistance on anything. I'm dead serious. This is a big ****ing deal.

I think Baylor could give FSU a game. I agree with you on OSU though.

In my estimation, FSUs chances against the following opponents are as follows:

Alabama 40%
Baylor 80%
Ohio State 75%

Those lines they built in Stanford are doing the trick.

Baylor is much better than you are giving them credit for.

They have a great coach and scheme, but the actual talent difference between the clubs is massive.

Florida 3 star>Non Florida 4 star...so on and so forth

Baylor IMO would most definitely get beat by any of the other teams undefeated.

If OU had a competent offense, it would've been a much better game. The defense could only hold Baylor down so long before it broke.
Baylor's good, but I don't see that defense stopping FSU, OSU or Alabama, especially in a neutral environment.

Stanford is just nasty. Which is all the more reason to wonder how the **** they lost to Utah.

As of this moment the BCS bowls would likely look like this

BCS: Alabama vs. Florida State
ROSE: Stanford vs. Ohio State
FIESTA: Baylor vs. Oregon (At large selection)
SUGAR: Auburn or Missouri vs. Fresno State or NIU (if at least one finishes above the AAC champion and in top 16)
ORANGE: Clemson vs. UCF

Stanford really is in Oregon collective heads. My hope is that Bama stumbles against LSU, just to make the last BCS a complete **** up.

So I got to see Elways jersey get retired, then stormed the field after the game. Even took a fadeaway jump shot through the goalposts. Great to see the Cardinal screw up the standings! Man if only they had beaten Utah.

Oh boy. FSU has to beat Florida. Wake, Syracuse and Idaho will be easy.

I still don't get how Stanford can be so good in DI football. That's a brainiac Top 5 US college. It's direct rivals are Harvard, Princeton, Penn, Georgetown, and Duke. Vanderbilt is probably the closest "top" college with a somewhat decent program (not really).

I guess every athletic 4.0 high school student that crushes his SATs and has the extra-curriculars just goes to Stanford. I'm just amazed how good they are only taking the intellectual elite.

There are plenty of smart football players. The problem before was that the football program was seen as just there.
Now they have successfully cultivated a environment of pride and achievement.
Plus people forget, California is a huge talent state, they also get guys from Arizona(which is underrated as a state), Texas and a few other close states.
Stanford started to pull in guys that USC,UCLA & Cal were getting.

True. Not only are they very fast, they are also quite physical. I'm not a Mizzou fan, but they have the talent EVERYWHERE to be a great dark horse pick, and yes, they could beat Bama.
