Default Massive Tornado Hits Oklahoma

Reported as 1.28 miles wide. Whole neighborhoods are wiped out. SW of OK City. I know there are some OM posters who live there. Hope everybody is okay. Predicting it was an F5.

Yeah, this was a pretty destructive one. Talking an EF-4 or thereabouts. Pray for those in its path.

There's a whole subdivision on the film where only concrete pads remain of the houses.

I agree Joshua, I hope my son gets ripped out of his school by a tornado and is never found because he roots for a different team then 31 other states.

I'm not worried about Doc B, he has a safe room built into his house that that will take an F-5 direct hit and is zombie proof ....... also big enough for all of us.

This neighborhood is like a couple miles away from him

This photo provided by KFOR-TV shows homes flattened outside Moore, Okla., Monday, May 20, 2013. A monstrous tornado as much as a mile wide roared through the Oklahoma City suburbs Monday, flattening entire neighborhoods, setting buildings on fire and landing a direct blow on an elementary school. Missed my house by 2 miles. Very scary.

Glad to see the 75 kids that were in the elementary school that got hit are okay.

2 nights in a row that tornadoes have hit the OKC area. I live straight down the corridor in Tulsa, and luckily these storms have dissipated before they reached us each night. Moore has unfortunately been hit several times over the past 20 years or so - it really sucks for them and I hope the casualties are at a minimum. You just can't do much when a tornado that violent hits.

My prayers for their families.

That is great. My heart goes out to all those affected but when it hurts the kids, it breaks my heart.

I generally wait and do some research before i give money. I always give though. Its just that the rush to charity is a big business now and its hard to know the best place to send it.
