One year with a $700K signing bonus and the deal could be worth up to $4.3 Million..

I'm curious if our numbers come out. I'm thinking we offered $2 - $3 Million..

Manning will target him just like QBs he faced last year did. Exposed.

I'm glad, need to build a team from the draft not hire mercenaries. Its fine to get a few people in FA but I just don't see the point of adding Woodson. Tony Carter is better than Woodson at this point.

Nothing puts the exclamation point on a HOF career like finishing up playing football on baseball dirt for a 4 win team.

I was okay having Woodson but only if he has changed his well known tendency to NOT want to help the younger guys he competes with. Remember a number of articles during his prime where he was a bit of a prima donna and wasnt in to mentoring possible competition on his own team.

When he was wining after getting an offer from us last week about not wanting to be a gloried coach for the young guys, it was clear not much as changed in his attitude in the regard and I was more than happy he didnt take our offer.

He may offer some benefits for the hapless Raider secondary, but it wont help them against us. Hi best role now would be in TE coverage as he is too slow to hang with any of our WRs and since we'll be going 3 wide on his ass all game in game three, good luck with that CW ...

So glad Elway didnt reach for him like Chokeland did, and like SD did with Freeney! Both were desperation moves by two of our rivals. After Melvin Ingram was lost (actually sorry to see that as I would prefer running them out of the stadium again at full strength and Ingram seems like a good guy)..

Anyway, Kudos for our FO to make an honest attempt to find a way for Woodson to help us, and now he will being overpaid in Oakland.

Woodson is thinking more about keeping a closer eye on his Napa Valley winery than winning any trophies with the Fade.

Well, I guess this just goes to show what his priorities are. Raiders are going to be in the Clowney sweepstakes.

$$ and Location trump the possibility of winning another ring. Dumb decision by him. But it'll be funny seeing him on a team that blows so bad.

This is great news. The best place for Woodson was somewhere he has to defend our passing attack. Grab Bronco WR's and of course Manning this yr. Woodson isn't fast enough to play FS anymore and he's too old to hold up playing SS. Also his tackling last couple yrs has turned into the arm variety and not the stick your head in there type we need at SS. We are better off with Moore and Adams, trying to get Carter playing again.

Woodson would have been an ok spot player but its better to let him play 3 downs with the silver and bleak. One we aren't using a TE attack this yr. The slot will be Welker breaking ankles, DT streaking and mauling, and Decker running great routes and being really long like he gets in the redzone.

So I will give you this. Woodson can probably play some good defense in the redzone. Thats it though. Don't fret people this is not a big deal. There is a reason he is having to sign with the Raiders. Where guys coming off injuries, washed up, and the never beens go to die. Its like that cave they found where sea turtles go to die. The black hole is really just where careers end.

Isn't Colorado the slimmest state in the union?
