RT @JasonLaCanfora: Demetrious Harris, hoops player from UW-Milwaukee with some freakish athleticism, signed as UDFA w/KC as TE. KC was 1st…

that sucks

Cool list. Lamar Thomas was also a transfer from Ohio St. He was a 4 star kid coming out of high school.

I know it's a highlight reel, and everyone looks good on them, which is why they are highlights, but he flashed some ability there. I wonder why he wasn't drafted at all.

*EDIT* Thomas ran a 4.35 at UNM's pro day.

The other UNM recruit Reed ran a 4.68 at 255 pounds. Not bad.
The Broncos scout for that area must be a silver tonged devil.

There was a story circulating that Bray was so ****ing football stupid and that his "whiteboard interview" was so terrible that several GM's took him completely off of their boards.

Good luck with that.

He should fit well in the KC area.

You could see it in his Gruden's QB camp interview too. Gruden was trying to feed him good answers and Bray didn't get it. He's an amazing arm talent with nothing between the ears.

I'll take your word for it. He isn't even listed in PFW's Draft Preview.

Here's what I posted about the kid in the draft sleeper thread a week ago:

Here's another 7th round sleeper. Personally, I believe he's a steal in the 7th.

University of New Mexico tight-end Lucas Reed.

Was an All-American candidate his sophomore year, but played for arguably the worst team in the country his sophomore and junior years and played for a true option team his senior year.

caught 33 balls for 459 yards and 5 TD's as as Sophmore.

Only caught 5 passes as a senior, but was on a team that threw the ball five times per game.

Didn't get invited to the combine, but posted a 37 inch vert, 25 reps at 225, and ran a 4.77 40 at 6'6" 259 pounds at his pro day. Also has the 2nd longest arms among TE's in the draft.

Well, he has "Gronk" like measurables. Let's see him in camp, and maybe he can make the PS! Thanks.

I was hoping the Broncos would have signed Brandon Moore DT from Texas but the Chuggers nabbed him.

The Texans and the Chiefs have apparently signed the entire UDFA draft class!

some really intriguing UDFA's. a few could stick on the roster and help out.
Thomas,Hester(a move to S maybe?),McDuffie,Reed,Kaveinga,Bateman all could help out on ST's or as a back up for depth. Foketi though, he excites me a lot. he and Painter could be steals, big and physical dudes who can play multiple positions on the line(though Painter is likely a pure OT for us)
