Default Am I the only one who felt like...

The 49ers, Ravens and Rams were just toying with the rest of the NFL this weekend?

It's like almost every pick they made was a good one that gave them either instant impact or awesome depth.

On a side note, the 49ers are one of the most talented teams I've seen on paper in the last decade.

I think we can both agree that we are glad our team isn't in the NFC West. Talk about a dogfight.

Your just used to your team drafting poorly.

I thought ours was every bit as good if not better.

Teams with like 10+ picks better have good drafts. The Broncos didn't have a great one nor a poor one. I'd call it solid which is what they needed.

I'm sorry broncosteven but I'm taking the Ravens, Rams and 49ers draft over yours every time.

They got fantastic players all over the place.

Uh, I think the Broncos drafted really well. I liked the positions they drafted for, I liked the players they got and the value we paid for them.

**** the 49'ers - we'll kick their ass

Considering the # of picks we had and where we picked I thought we added exactly what we needed, including the Phillips signing.

A couple of things:

The Ravens always draft great, nothing new here. Hopefully, the Broncos continue to have good to great drafts, they have a good start to the Elway as GM, era.

The Rams had better have a great draft, they had a lot of ammo, thanks to Shanny and the Skins. Besides, they are still a ways away, and a QB away, before they contend.

The 9ers are a force to be sure, but we'll see if Kaepernick improves or regresses; could be either. Also, they are already deep, a lot of these picks will probably sit for a year.

However, when you have a franchise QB, you always have a chance.

Agreed. We filled needs and got a good combo of "now" guys to go along with "future" guys. I'm happy.

As far as the Rams and the 49ers go, you would imagine that they would. The niners had the most draft picks with a great bunch of scouts. They been drafted well for years now. The Rams also had alot of picks too.

Well, it seems their drafts this season line up more with the online draftniks, which means they pick players folks who follow that have more familiarity with. Nearly every Ravens pick was someone I had earmarked for Denver. Not sure what that means, really. I will say other than Webster, I was pretty familiar with every Denver pick, which improves likability.

Judging drafts before the draftees actually play a down is utterly idiotic. That is all.

I think it means they won't turn out any better than the average. That's how it always seems to go.

Yes, when teams are staring at another 8-8 season and missing the playoffs I'm sure they'll console themselves that they got an 'A' from the media draftniks......Super Bowl is usually won in January, not April....

AZ was my favorite draft of all.

But again, as has been said no one can judge crap til they start playing in some live action.

Personally, I feel like Denvers draft was great. They hit every single area of need (apart from MLB, but I don't feel like there was a single REAL MLB worth an early pick) and got players that will make immediate impact early and late. Thrilled with how we drafted this season.

Rams are my sleeper playoff team. Their defense showed some flashes last year. Losing Steven Jackson isn't that big of a deal. Isaiah Pead & Daryl Richardson will be a good tandem. Biggest issues have been addressed in OL & WR.

Not sure if that's enough to leapfrog the Seahawks, but it should be interesting to watch. The Cardinals may be 0-6 in that division.

Edit - they went 2-1-1 against the Niners and Seahawks last season. 4-1-1 overall in the NFC West.

I think Elway is resally comgortablde with throwing the MLB competition open to Bradley, Irving, and S Johnson. We also added Kaveinga and McCray so maybe one of them as well. Kav was an MLB in college....

More picks doesn't necessarily equal a better draft. We hit on need, as well as picking up a 7th round quarterback with a "starter" grade. Screw everyone else...

With the DL he has assembled he could put anyone short of maybe Joe Mays back there and have success.

I would love to see one of those players bust out of TC and taking over that job.

I think the most underrated draft was the Titans.

They quietly had a nice draft.

I think the 5 picks they made in the first 4 rounds were all either really good players or really solid. Good value too.

If I were you I would be concerned that no one is mentioning kFc having a nice draft.
