I have a sneaking feeling this means Champ is moving to safety earlier rather than later or possibly that Champ is going to fighting for a job. There is nearly 10 million in cap room we can save by not having Champ on the roster. If DRC and Harris can start and Carter and Bolden are backups....

I am just throwing out crap here, but this does open up some possibilities.

Miami had to trade up for a CB cause all the 3rd round CB were coming off the board

If you think this guy was a reach guess again

You simply stated nonsense. Teams carry six corners all the time these days.

We did need a corner. Champ is an HOFer for sure, but I can't get the visions of wide open raven losers burning him about our SB season. And if the front office is concerned about replacing dumbbervilles pass rush, the pick makes sense.

From Watching his highlights he is a very physical tackler. Maybe move to free safety.

That's nice, but it doesn't mean the Broncos will.

So far reading the Mane the last couple weeks, Denver should have traded up for D Moore or Carradine in the first and drafted Phillip Thomas in the 2nd and then Denver would have the most awesomess draft evah

Projected by who? Where was Geno projected?

Wait and see.

you serious, clark?

By about every draft site that exists. Relax, I didn't say it was a bad pick.

They are going to keep 10 DBs altogether probably.

08/07/12 - South Florida cornberback Kayvon Webster has such high-regard for Champ Bailey's press coverage skills he will often proclaim “Champ has arrived at practice,” when he's asked to jam a receiver at the line. Renowned for his physical prowess and ability to press receivers, Webster is one of the most intense, aggressive corners in the Big East.

Seems like our drafting has focused on character and raw talent often this year and last. IMO the front office and coaching staff are looking for guys that have the raw skills combined with coachability.

It will be interesting. The only reason I wonder about Bolden is, being a Arizona Wildcat guy, I know Bolden was a beast before he got hurt. Might have been Arizona State's best guy. Maybe he isn't the same player anymore, I just hope he gets a fair shake. And I hate scum devils.

Very interesting. They're also saying montee ball's favorite RB is the Godsend TD. Maybe we just got 2 guys who will bleed for the orange and blue.

So if I say my favorite WR is Rod Smith and I'm a high character guy, then I will get drafted?
