Packers are shopping inside linebacker Desmond Bishop. Thoughts?

... But still, if you want a physical press corner, you take Poyer there all day. Wonder if that means Webster WILL be competing at safety
I think this probably happened as well. And really, if they thought about Moore with their 2nd then they had to know he was going before their 3rd.

And as I was watching the draft and Giants came on the clock I said Moore is probably going here and he did. Giants don't pass on D-linemen.

If they thought about him in the 2nd, why not use your 4th or even 5th and move up and get him

Oh well, like you said it is a 3rd round pick. Guy has the tools and is physical and fast. There is hope there that he can be coached up and possibly be a starter in a couple years. At least they waited for the pick to come to them rather than pull a McD and trade up for a.....Quinn!

Webster size and they way he plays on the one highlight film I've found does remind me more of a safety than a CB. Maybe he becomes our big nickel Nick Ferguson type

NFL Network just said we are shopping Joe Mays!

Really If they get a pick for Mays, then that would totally redeem the reach on Webster!

The one thing I'll be surprised if it doesn't happen is Conner Vernon in the 7th.

I think you are correct. They didn't get aggressive moving up, got scooped in both round 2 and 3. Hell, Balt traded up to grab a supposedly great guy in Art Brown (got #56 from SEA for their #62, their 5th and 6th). Stinking Ravens have shored up that D pretty good in draft and FA. They might actually be better this year than last.

Of course, DEN didn't have the 6th, just too damn bad Denver didn't have a couple more picks this year.

Matt Scott? Don't they know anything? That's Arizona Matt, not Matt Scott. Come on Dilfer.

Well, we don't have to worry about Barkley anymore I guess. Could be a solid pick for Philadelphia.

Might look back on that years from now as the steal of the draft. Who knows?

Ian Rapoport@RapSheet1m
The #Eagles traded a 7th rounder to the #Jags for the right to select… Matt Barkley. 98th overall.

All it took was a 7th to move up

Considering Barkley was in the first round discussion last year had he came out, to get him in the fourth is an absolute value for the Eagles.
