Jags targeting Nassib or Barkley in round two
see, round 2 makes sense. he is not a 1st round pick. but then again neither was Ponder nor Locker and both went top 15.

God I hope so. It would be great to drop back 5-10 spots and pick up a 3rd.

Ryan Mallett- QB -PatriotsCiting a source, the Boston Herald reports the Browns have contacted the Patriots -- again -- regarding the trade availability of Ryan Mallett.Per the Herald's Jeff Howe, the Pats are asking for "at least" a second-round pick, which Cleveland doesn't currently have but could acquire if it traded down in round one. The Browns aren't going to give New England the sixth overall pick. Browns GM Mike Lombardi has long been infatuated with Mallett's talent. His big arm would also be an excellent fit in Rob Chudzinski's vertical attack.

@RapSheet: The #Vikings and #Bears love Manti Te'o. If Minnesota wants to grab him, they'll need to jump up over Chicago. That's what they plan to do

Wow...my Browns bud (who will be over for the draft) would be furious.

Geno Smith is the one player he does not want to draft, as he thinks he'll be a bust.

Lombardi is an idiot and a Patriot plant. How these morons continue to enrich Bellicheat is baffling.

if he trades a 2nd round pick for Mallett he should be fired on the spot.
but this is again why i want us to start racking up QB talent so we can deal them away for insane compensation.

The trade chart used 10 years ago doesn't apply to today since rookie contracts are so much less. If it gets us extra picks and we still get one of our guys, how can you complain regardless of the extra pick compensation.

The "lower 1st" is referring to a rumored trade down from #3 with Atlanta.

Oregon LB Dion Jordan and Alabama CB Dee Milliner, who underwent off-season labrum surgery, are expected to open training camp on PUP list.

No ****.

Wasnt mallett a 3rd pick. He has not played, he has rode the pine and thrown a few balls in pre season and spot duty, yet now he is worth a full draft pick higher. My ass.

I like the kid, and would agree he is as good or better than the guys in this draft perhaps (learning from brady etc) but get real. Id tell them to sit on their fist and rotate.

Tavon Austin going in the top ten wouldn't surprise me at all....I love this quote from a GM:

He’s small, but he’s an impact player. As one G.M. privately put it at the Scouting Combine, “He runs like he has a rocket in his ass.”

Werner might be gone. Rumor has it that Rams want to trade #22 and a prospective trade partner is the Falcons who want to trade up for Bjeorn.

That sucks....Bjoern Werner is at the top of my wish list for Denver, with Arthur Brown being second.

I still don't see any way that Werner falls to 28.
