Default How Good of a GM Are You?

Everyone every year has what they believe is a great draft plan. After several years of drafting let's see where our imaginary franchises would be if we were callibg the shots. How good or bad of a team would you have made if you were the shotcaller on a team. Use your best players from your draft picks and compare who is good at drafting and who needs lessons.

Undrafted picks are also usable in this game.

Just using players I have drafted or got undrafted that are still in the league my team would be average at best

Listed best to worst

QB - Nick Foles, Blaine Gabbert
RB - Le'Veon Bell, Doug Martin, Rashad Jennings, Spencer Ware
WR - Keenan Allen, Andre Roberts, Darius Heyward Bey, Dan Buckner
TE - Nick Kasa
OL - David DeCastro, Charles Brown

DL - Corey Peters,Allen Bailey, AJ Francis, Joe Kruger
LB - Kiko Alonso, Vontaze Burfict, Casey Matthews, Kevin Minter
CB - Jayron Hosley, Chris Cook
SS - Brandan Bishop

Judging myself I pick decently on RB and LB. Need help on trench players. Need work on secondary

Just off the head notables. I have always been teams drafting late. Never had a shot at elite guys. On my mobile now and when I look at my history I never drafted a TE or too many offensive lineman. I had a few years where MUG and someone else took over for me, but overall not too shabby. Busted big time on Brandon Harris a few years back and have made some dumb premptive trades to just pick early and be done. Past two seasons were pretty good. Looking forward to doing something different and having another new team.

On the other hand, when you're drafting really high, your pick is almost made for you.

That is my favorite position, probably what I do the most research into, and I guess it showed during my drafts. Found good players later in the draft. Actually traded up to get A.J. Green in the other Mock b.c I couldn't believe he fell that far.

These are my most successful draftees. Some were damn easy like Luck and Calvin Johnson. However, I also had a lot of success in UDFA with players the Colts either selected or made their way to their team highlighted in Blue. Most were selected by Indianapolis colts drafting at end of the round, and without a full selection of picks thanks to Bill "I can only draft cover 2" Polian's ineptitude.

QB: Andrew Luck, Chandler Harnish (both for Colts)
WR: Calvin Johnson, Pierre Garcon and TY Hilton (Both For Colts), David Gettis, Darius Reynaud
TE: James Casey
RB: Joseph Addai (for Colts), Stepfan Taylor
OT: Roger Saffold, Gabe Carimi
OG: Rob Sims, Evan Mathis, Clint Boling
OC: Never drafted.....

DT: Tyson Alualu, Bennie Logan, Ray McDonald, Eric Foster(UDFA), Dorell Scott,
DE: Chandler Jones, Malik Jackson
OLB: Clay Matthews, Deandre Levy (UDFA)
ILB: Nigel Bradham, Stewart Bradley
CB: Patrick Robinson, Bradley Fletcher, Don Carey (UDFA), Marcus Gilcrest, Steve Williams
S: Harrison Smith, Robert Blanton, Charles Godfrey, Tyrell Johnson, Sherrod Martin

2008 FA Notables: Pierre Garcon, Reggie Corner, Eric Foster
2009 FA Notables: Don Carey, Ashlee Palmer, and Deandre Levy still playing
2010 FA Notables: David Reed (WR/KR) still playing
2012 FA Notables: Jeremy Lane (CB SEA), Chandler Harnish (drafted by Colts), DeAngelo Tyson, Travian Robertson all still active players
2013 FA Notables: Edmund Kugbila and Jake Knott

All in all, I would compete with this team I believe in the NFL. Not sure I would win 50% of my games, but I would take any team drafted from the OM draft

I haven't drafted enough at every position to make a team. I've only taken two QBs, and that was in the final rounds.

QB - Matt Flynn

Did a little better with receivers

WR - Michael Crabtree, Robert Woods, Reuben Randle, Robert Meachem, Tiquan Underwood

TE - Coby Fleener, Travis Kelce

Never drafted a RB, just FB

FB - Brian Leonard

DBs - Patrick Chung, Charles Godfrey, Mo Claiborne, Jamar Taylor

LB - Travis Lewis, AJ Klein

DT - Nick Fairley, Dan Williams

DE - Adrian Clayborn, Austen Lane, Jerel Worthy

OL - DJ Fluker, Tom Compton, Dallas Thomas, Eric Cook, Mike Otto, Lee Ziemba

2007 was pretty sad. I massively overpicked the late Gaines Adams, followed him up with two players (Tony Ugoh and Eric Wright) who looked very promising early on but then tailed off. I also picked Trent Edwards that year, a long with a few guys who never amounted to anything.

2008 was better. I got Glenn Dorsey, Carl Nicks, Zachary Bowman, and Corey McKeon. I homered out on Nebraska players but Nicks has been elite while Bowman has had a solid career. Dorsey has been good but not the player he could have been if the Chiefs hadn't played him out of position.

In 2009 I was in both drafts. For the Titans, I took Ziggy Hood, D.J Moore, Antoine Caldwell, Fenuki Tupou, Jarett Dillard, Courtney Greene, Zach Potter, Chris Crane, Nate Swift and Cullen Harper. Hood and Moore were solid but the rest never amounted to much. I was much better for the Lions where I took Stafford, James Laurinaitis, Eben Britton, Jason McCourty, and Greg Toler. I did whiff on Cody Brown, but I got him almost a round later than he went in the real draft.

I did great in 2010, grabbing Gerald McCoy, Maurkice Pouncey, Javier Arenas, Zane Beadles (5th round), James Starks, Zoltan Mesko, and Kyle Williams.

Don't remember, but the last 3 years i really liked Fletcher Cox, Sheldon Richardson, and this year Kyle Fuller.

2-3 months before-hand.

Of course none will fall to the Broncos.
