It's fine to criticize US foreign policy, but can you at least do it in context?

No. Obviously we should have let Hitler win. Then we wouldn't have blood on our hands.

This full pic shows both feet blown off, and his left calf entirely missing.....

Just before 3 p.m. on April 15, Bauman was waiting among the crowd for his girlfriend to cross the finish line at the Boston Marathon. A man wearing a cap, sunglasses and a black jacket over a hooded sweatshirt looked at Jeff, 27, and dropped a bag at his feet, his brother, Chris Bauman, said in an interview.

Two and a half minutes later, the bag exploded, tearing Jeff’s legs apart. A picture of him in a wheelchair, bloodied and ashen, was broadcast around the world as he was rushed to Boston Medical Center. He lost both legs below the knee.

“He woke up under so much drugs, asked for a paper and pen and wrote, ‘bag, saw the guy, looked right at me,’” Chris Bauman said yesterday in an interview.

Those words may have helped crack the mystery of who perpetrated one of the highest-profile acts of terror in the U.S. since the 2001 assault on New York City and the Washington area, one that killed three people and wounded scores.

The Boston area was on lockdown this morning after law enforcement officials killed one suspect in the bombing and were hunting another, following a night of violent clashes between the two men and authorities that killed a Massachusetts Institute of Technology campus policy officer.

There are valid criticisms but to attack this country for trying to stop the spread of Marxism in Vietnam is ridiculous.

I hope that guy does well. I feel very badly for him. He's going to go through absolute hell until those legs finally and slowly heal.

Unfortunately we seem to have gotten a little lax. The government has been saying that unattended bags in places of large concentrations of people shouldn't be just ignored.

Hope to see you there.

So why are they not releasing the photos? What in the hell is going on?

The Boston Globe is claiming images will FINALLY be released today. We can only hope.

Seriously, pay attention.

There are people online who have combed over pictures of possible suspects, and there two in particular that I find interesting and I'm waiting to see if the pictures are them.

The longer they don't release the photos, the less likely it is these men get caught.

We could have nextdoor neighbors out there who could ID them immediately, yet the feds are sitting on it.

Why?

Not to mention getting driven off the board for your childishness, your hypocrisy and your bouts of hysteria and then returning in the guise of psycho woman.

Yep Boston security dropped the ball a bit but on the flip side must be next to near impossible if they set bombs off only minutes after setting them down.

The Domino Theory (or "containment" - whatever you want to call it) was not designed to eradicate Marxism. I doubt that even its most zealous proponents would have made the mistake of believing that you could militarily stop an idea. It was designed to confront Soviet, global influence. After 58,000 American deaths we discovered that all communism was not "Soviet influenced" and that our entire policy was bull****. We could have always looked at the enmity between the Soviets and the Chinese and thought to ourselves, "Gee, these two "Marxist" countries hate each other. Why is that?" Unfortunately, so many people in charge of policy decision are dumb ideologues like you.

You even post the exact same nonsequiturs and lame deflections as the drama llama. There is no doubt...

Drama Llama had a sex change!

Because there was no previous precedent such as the USSR swallowing half of Europe after WWII and the Marxist philosophy doesn't include the spread of revolution? Emphasize your use of the word "AFTER" here. You have the benefit of hindsight. In either case, it's not a reason to use the event to trash the US as an evil monster.

Why are all you libs so angry this early in the morning?
