I think this is the most likely scenario. I hope Manuel and Nassib or Barkley are there at our pick and Philly or Buffalo come a knockin' with their 2nd and probably a 4th if last year is any indication.

Really, in the early 2nd I wouldn't be surprised to see any of Moore, Carradine, Cyprien, Teo, Minter, Ertz, etc. sitting there. One of these guys will be there and we can use that extra 4th to move up with our 3rd or even our late 2nd to snag 2 of these guys.

Rhodes is one of the best CBs i have seen in a while. Rev- get your gun out because I like him more than PP.

I see us trading out to a team grabbing a qb.

What is the likelihood of Rhodes being there at #28?

I agree, but Champ is going to be replaced inside of 3 years, and with the learning curve at the CB position I think it makes sense to get his replacement in house this year. I think Trufant is the safest pick of the bunch, but it's a pretty deep class at the CB position.

There's a better chance of Geno Smith being at 28 than Rhodes.

Rhodes is going #13 be it the Bucs with that pick or the Jets after the Revis trade.

His size is what so many teams will like. He's 6'2" and 210lbs. People are already talking about the Broncos drafting another big CB at 28, Jonathan Banks from Miss State. Banks is not first round talent but some speculate the Broncos take him because he's 6'2" and a buck 85. Just say'n.

I'm not denying that Rhodes may be a better player at this point, i don't know, I haven't watched him play. I do know Champ is making over 10 mil, Rodgers-Cro is making 5, and Chris Harris is great in the slot. I just assume the Broncos, considering the money, will want those expensive players to play at first. And since the 4th corner is on the field sparingly, who sits?

I'm not even trying to be difficult, it's a legit question

Can Rhodes cover the TE with his size? God knows we need that kind of player.

Porter made five mill last year and they even pretended he had a weird disease to keep him out of the lineup.

haha no doubt, but would they really want to make the same mistake twice or try to make it work this time? I'm all for impact players and talent and I'll take your word that he's very talented. I'm just worried a guy like that would get buried in 2013 until someone gets injured. Im wrong all the time though, so time will tell.

The goal is winning a super bowl, not accommodating contract size

Agreed, but they wouldnt be the first to shoehorn in an attempt to save face/get a proper return on their investment.

Absolutely. If ever there was a draft to get multiple picks from 35-60 this is the draft. Theoretically, we could get a highly targeted player at the top of the 2nd round and use the additional 2nd rounder to get the best RB off of the board too. Like playing with house money.
