I think that was the year we had two mock drafts running simultaneously, and everyone got kind of "mocked out" before the UDFA round.

Would LOVE it if we could get all 32 teams to participate.... impossible dream?
Probably need to do a better job of pushing this if that's all the participation the last six years. At worst, it should be massively simple for each GM to bid all 100k on at least one player he likes that's still available if they just don't feel like getting into it too much.

Maybe tie team selection priority into completing the entire process the year prior. It takes next to no effort to at least bid it all on one prospect, everyone should have the 5 minutes it takes to do that at least.

Totally agree -- priority for next year's OM Mock Draft should go to those who submit bids in the UDFA round (+ don't miss any selections during the regular draft).

I prove here that UDFA are losers (and I suck at finding the gems)

- other than Max Hall of course who actually beat the Saints once!!

2009 (saints) udfa:
Marlon Favorite - now on New Orleans Voodoo
Keegan Herring - N/a

2010 (giants) udfa:
Max Hall - stint in AZ, we loved the guy here, now: just signed with Winnipeg, CFL
Brandon James - N/A, fired from his high school coaching job lat year
Chris McGaha - N/A
Aleric Mullins - Retire, again

as an aside, score one for Roh:
Vaughn, Cassius (CB, Ole Miss)
$5000 Rohirrim, Denver Broncos

Send a PM to those that have failed to submit their lists... See if they even plan on participating in the UDFA period.

I don't think I'm going to land a majority of my target guys. I couldn't separate myself from them and narrow down my list. Consequently, I bid on too many prospects. My consolation is that if I bid on someone a lot of guys bid on, at least my talent evaluation is accurate.

Also, I'm not like other cowards who use a scattershot approach and bid on 15-20 prospects. You know who you are!!!!

OK, I encouraged everyone to submit bids for the UDFA round. My job is done here.

I wanted to congratulate everyone on a fantastic draft. We finished in record time, no where NEAR the actual draft. Most times we are racing to get everything in so the UDFA doesn't get squeezed. This year that was not a problem. We didn't even need the 6 hour clock!!

Look at the first few attempts of the draft. They couldn't even finish the second round the first year! A few missed picks aside, great work to everyone.

And I would also like to give a big shout out to Sirhcyennek. He was a fantastic pinch drafter and kept the integrity of the draft moving when we needed to move things along. GREAT WORK!

I still can not believe Jerraud Powers went undrafted in the OM Draft. I liked several other CB's that got drafted late that year in Bradley Fletcher and Keenan Lewis. But Powers has been a great CB when healthy for INDY. Now, he is gone due to scheme switch on the back end, but he was a quality CB who I liked coming out and he certainly justified the 3rd round pick for INDY.

Nice work eddie!

Sorry guys, been busy the past few days and didn't know if 24champ had put in bids. Since he hasn't, I will do it for him since I am co-GM. Will have them in within the next half hour.
