Default MELVIN INGRAM TORN ACL.

Sucks to be a Chargers fan....haha

Per Rotoworld-

Chargers OLB Melvin Ingram suffered a torn left ACL in OTAs Tuesday.

He's almost certainly out for the season. It's a crushing blow for a Chargers' pass rush that was already perilously thin, and major setback for a player coming off a mediocre rookie campaign. The No. 18 pick of last year's draft, Ingram should be stashed on injured reserve some time in August. The only silver lining is that he'll have well over an entire calendar year to get back to 100 percent. As for the Bolts' pass rush, new GM Tom Telesco will likely at least consider making a run at free agent Dwight Freeney. Telesco was the Colts' VP of football operations before heading to Southern California. John Abraham and Israel Israel Idonije are two other possibilities. The rush linebacker market is comically thin.

Default Melvin Ingram torn ACL? Ouch, Rough for the Chargers

San Diego Chargers fear LB Melvin Ingram tore ACL

The San Diego Chargers hoped that linebacker Melvin Ingram would take a big step forward in his second season. Now it's possible Ingram won't have a second season at all.

NFL.com's Ian Rapoport reported Tuesday on "NFL Total Access" that doctors fear Ingram suffered a torn anterior cruciate ligament during the Chargers' organized team activities.

Would big a big blow not only to the crucial second year in Ingram's development but also to the Chargers defense this year. If they could have seen this coming, they surely would have brought back Phillips for 1.5 million.

Chiefs where worse than ever, Oakland will be okay as well as San Diego, There is no reason why Denver cant win the next 2-4 division crowns.

There goes any hope for a decent season... no depth at OLB.

Despite it being the Chargers - I never, ever want to see players injured. That really sucks for them and their LB depth this year. I really liked Ingram coming out and hope he can make a full recovery.

Don't feel that bad. You weren't going to do much anyway with a new everything on your team. Now you will get a better draft position and shorten your rebuild.

the only FO that seems like it is getting a clue is Oakland. KC is philly all over again, SD is always overrated and they never pan out.

Oakland though is no longer handcuffed by that dumbass nonsense that was the Palmer trade.

i really like the selections they made this season and i feel Wilson will be a nice QB for them. really hate them getting Sio Moore though.

Was he juicing? I know when you stop juicing your ligaments get weak. Also, the Chargers must be destroyed.

i have one question though. why the hell do you have to tell a QB to be more of a presence and then still pay him?
i know Romo is good but man alive that dude was overpaid.

Well, at least San Diego notched all those good regular seasons in the 2000's with no playoff wins for memories sake. Back to the basement, b****es!
