I wasn't a huge fan of DS9 until the last couple seasons, I watched because it was ST but now that it has been almost 20 years I would like to rewatch it all again. Maybe some day I will break down and get a hulu or netflicks account but I have been able to make it this far without having to pay for it. Maybe I will try to source it from the librarys, I know ours doesn't have them but maybe they can find it for free.

Ya, once the Dominion were introduced the series really took off. Over all I really liked STDS9. It was really cool to take a macro view of the ST universe.

DS9 was the most "real" series and "In the Pale Moonlight" is the most real episode.

I agree. The first three seasons are pretty rough. Seasons 1-2 are nearly un-watchable. It starts getting better with Sisko's goatee and Worf is when it hits another level. The finale was awesome except for the the magic fire wraiths part, which was total crap. I like to pretend Sisko just died in the battle and there was no Dukat/Bajoran love fest with Kai Winn.

Agreed. I hated the hole messiah thing. DS9 was the most religous of all the series, but it was what made it different.

I liked the religion aspect. That is something they haven't played with too much. They explored it a bit more with Chikote in Voyager, but Voyager was too milque toast for me.

I liked the Bajorian aspect of it. Though i'm not Christian I liked how the Bajorian religion mrrored catholic hirachry. I was never in favor of Sisko's part in it. Chikote's spritualism was too weak and lacked teeth.

P.S.: The episode about Torres and Paris's child being the messiah for the Klingons could have been better, but it was interesting like the TNG episode with Ka'las.

They had said all the right things before Voyager came out then failed to execute. They said it would be gritter and things would have the look of a long duration deployment then failed to follow through. I was so disappointed when they showed the ship for the 1st time and they said the systems were a gel of some sort which they needed to use to explain how everything could continue to work right away in the 1st episode.

Loved the Emergency Dr character, we have already gone over how hot 7 of 9 was.

People like us were starved for ST.

I admit to hating Enterprise though the Vulcan was hot and I liked how they had to wipe everyone down in the air locks.

It turned into one personal drama after another. There were some good episodes there but the filler ones (and there were many) were just crap.

Broken Bow was good. Enterprise had potentual, but by episode 6 it sucked bad. Even the mirror universe episodes lacked feeling.
