Default Margus Hunt

I hope this beast is there when our first round pick comes up... but I feel Green Bay will snag him first...get him and bring in Freeney and we won't miss Doom at all!!!!!!!

Looks like the perfect TE. Has anyone tried throwing him the ball or is it like throwing it to a brick wall

Hunt disappeared in the Senior Bowl. He's 26 years old, and still only managed to get 8 sacks this year (with 2 coming against a freshman RT in the bowl game), with only 31 tackles in the mighty Conference USA.

Arm length is 33.75", both Clady and Franklin would shut him down easily.

His name should be Mike Hunt because he plays like a p***Y.

Just because he looks the part doesn't mean he knows dick about playing football. Wow, he can block kicks! WHO CARES!?

If Elway really believes in the "we dont draft all pros, we make them" bs, then Margus is a guy to look at. He's one of the best athletes in the draft and has only played football a few years.

And that bowl game, he dominated. Maybe he only had 2 sacks, but he was a one man wrecking crew. It was insane.

Is he the dude from Estonia?

If so, I'd be down with drafting him.

You do realize he didn't start playing football till he was 24/25 years old right? I'm not sure his age was really an advantage like you seem to believe when the guys he has been playing against have been playing football for years. FYI Hunts arm length is 1/4 inch shorter then JJ Watts.

Broncos not in the market for a reach first round IMO.

If he is there at 28, and Denver wants him, do you think Elway will draft him in the 1st, or move back into the early 2nd after picking up a few more selections? Its happened before...

not in the first, that's a reach on a project. rather go with Werner in that spot and take Hunt in the 2nd.

Yeah I agree. But he is white and that seems to mean something to Denver these days.

based on the past 2 drafts Elway believes in drafting productive multiple year starters
Really Osweiler and Julius Thomas are the only projects I got off of the top of my head

I doubt Hunt is on our radar

He is saying the age is a huge disadvantage, this is a guy who needs 2 to 3 years to catch up mentally and technically and by that time he will be nearly 30 years old.

No price uses age of older people as having an advantage vs younger because they are physically advanced.
