So would I. I pray on every big decision.

He'll be comfortable with his decision no matter what. That's what matters most. I'm happy for him.

This isn't a situation where he needs to ****ing pray. "God" isn't going to tell him where he should play a ****ing sport.

You obviously don't understand prayer. It clears your mind, and calms your senses, like meditation. Your mind is erased clean from all bad thoughts and distractions...then you come to a decision. You get up from prayer, and have confidence that can't be broken.

Clearly you have a limited understanding of prayer

prayer will bring clarity when you are conflicted over a decision

people pray for different reasons. it's not the same for everyone.
hell people pray for their team to win games. it doesn't mean the prayer will be answered or at least not in the way they wish.

sometimes you just need to say something out loud or in your head to someone else to make sense of it.

Is the almost Easter Vigil still going?

I am pretty sure God is a Broncos fan so this should end great for us.

I don't know why everyone is so mad. Do we play a game tomorrow? No? Are the possible guys we'd sign to replace Doom about to sign contracts elsewhere? No? Then let him take as long as he wants. It's his future, his life, his money--not mine. Sometimes fans act like children.

Ok, fans always act like children.

Then that's not prayer. That's just talking to yourself out loud.

“Due to the procedural elements that were involved in executing the new proposal, we imposed a 1 p.m. MDT deadline for a decision, one hour before the NFL’s waiver wire at 2 p.m. MDT. Our deadline was clearly communicated to Elvis’ representative.

Funny, most people pray for the opportunity to make such a decision in the first place.

I'm a firm believer in prayer. I would recommend that Elway pray about it too, and if he feels Elvis is dicking around I would answer Elvis' prayer by yanking the contract.

Had a dream that Elvis signed with the Minnesota Vikings on a 2 year deal worth 20 million. He came over to my house with Mike Shanahan, Pat Bowlen, Von Miller, Champ Bailey and John Elway. Lmfao.

Prayer and meditation share physiological effects. Clarity, relaxation, focus.

Presence of sky wizard is where they diverge, however.
