This tentative Russian Roulette is getting old, pull the damn trigger someone!

If Elvis is gonna leave cause he's an idiot butt hurt clown then that is disappointing, but good riddance and dont let the door hit you on the way out!

If you're smart Elvis, then welcome back. This fiasco was all yours and your numbskull agents doing. Otherwise, Denver would have still made you the highest paid DE contract of this offseason and much more reasonable than the $12 mil payout due this year on McDaniels deal of 2010. Afterall, you got $14 million each of the last two seasons and have made well over $35 to $40 million playing football for the Broncos who have been very good to you already, so pardon me if I don't shed too many pity tears.

The question is are you mature enough to recognize how YOU let you ego and incompetence buy in working out such a deal and in choosing a lousy agent to begin with, throw such a monkey wrench into your own deal and cost the Broncos a good 5 million in cap money and thus sabotaged your own 8.5 million this year and 30 mil deal overall.

Denver gives you a WAY better chance for a ring in the next three years than any of the other teams who have shown an interest in you, and none of them are going to pay you significantly more than Denver is offering now in any event.

So what is it Elvis, can you admit your own mistake in this FUBAR and do the right thing for yourself as well as the Broncos by resigning and playing with commitment this year? Or, are you going to slink off to some other team where you have to start all over again for a marginal contract as it is and certainly nothing much better than you would earn here and with far less opportunity for both team and personal glory and satisfaction both this year and longer term??

Its a simple decision Elvis, its only up to you and whether or not you are gonna let the 'dont dis me man, I'm a gangsta' personality win out or not that we all got a glimpse of last off season, or if you are going to act like a real man ... a smart man ... about this sad scenario and make it all right all around?

Do the right thing, and all is immediately forgotten and forgiven, but leave Denver pouting your way out of town and you will be the forgotten one for good!

Brandon Spano Show ‏@BrandonSpano 5m Very funny situation. Here's bottomline... Elvis will be a Bronco or a Raven very soon. Broncos had hoped Elvis would agree this week.

Brandon Spano Show ‏@BrandonSpano 8m End is near with Elvis. Broncos try to close the case but looks like childish feelings get in the way. Dumervil close to deal with Ravens.
Good, just friggin end already

**sigh**

I hope Abraham can get 10 sacks again this year and make me forget about the stupidity of losing Doom.

Damn.

Maybe it is that mind set that causes him to get a ton of hurries relative to his sack totals

Doom was as good as cut at 10am. Sullivan even filed the paperwork to release him at the NFL's deadline 2pm MST. Doom changed his mind a 1pm MST - probably realizing how much money he would lose - and contacted the team.

Because of Doom's p***Yfooting, they had one hour to draft, send, review, and get the contract back.

Sorry the blame is about 60-40-0 Doom-Magid-Elway.
Not sure what you're talking about. The FO didn't even put their final offer on the table until 11am. Not sure how they could've set a deadline an hour before they made their last proposal. Not even getting into the fact that they dicked up the contract a couple of times afterwards. Blame all around.

About the same percentage as a 15 seed beating a 2 seed.

The Broncos gave Magid and Dumervil a deadline of 3 p.m. EDT to consider that deal.

I don't know what you guys are talking about. Elway said in his official statement that the deadline was 10am.

I only care what the direct person says. The team, as in Elway, said 10am. That passed, then Dumervil played like a virgin on prom night and kept teasing they team. This is on Elvis, clearly he can't make a decision. The team was ready to move in, and they will be tomorrow if he does the same thing.
