NFL all about taking chances. Broncos can't afford the 3rd roster spot or the money for a vet bkup this yr. Hell Cassal got what 4 mil a yr? if manning goes down we lose. That is the reality.

If Manning goes down, wouldn't you want to see the young buck play? If Alex Smith goes down, you get chase daniels. Exciting **** right there.

There are still a few vet safetys that can help us out don't worry. Elway waiting to see how Doom plays out. Soon as we have that settled i bet he brings in a safety. Especially if Carters knee isn't going to be 100

I want pollard because hes dirty. We need one dirty player on defense to round out our team. People who think Romo wasn't a big part of us winning 2 of them are mistaken. He needed a great team like we had but we needed his nasty win at all costs demeanor.

I also think Huff could help Denver. He could come in and either start at safety and play some corner if needed. People are wrong about him stinking he has a lot of athletic ability and was stuck on a bad defense. Hard to look good on the back end when the front 7 isn't very good.

Brock can drive the Ferrari. John said so.

But for the ryt contract I'd take Fitzpatrick as insurance.

Assuming we have the O line healthy OS should be fine driving the club for
a few weeks . If we draft another good o-lineman or restructure Kuper and retain him the line should be able to protect a 2nd year QB well enough. Whether Os is the answer is a question that will be answered WHEN he plays.

I would rather invest in a RB that can get the 2-3 yards on 3rd and short than a journeyman QB with no upside.
