Eh, the Lonestars of the board don't really get under my skin too much. I find them more entertaining than anything. If I'm not in the mood for their idiocy, I find it easy to ignore them. Never really understood why people find it necessary to cry to mods about posters when there is a perfectly functioning ignore feature.

I somewhat agree to a point. However there are some trolls that disrupt the dynamic in every single thread and really pull down the board. Is it partly the fault of those who cannot ignore them? Of course. But that's the reality of the board. And I had no idea he was reporting people every single day. From a management perspective he wasn't worth the time and I can't argue with that.

I do agree his response to these signings would be fun to read, but the "cost" of seeing him poop in every thread isn't worth the price of admission IMO.

I hated the guy with the passion and have had to endure his diatribe for a decade, but think I only reported one or two of his things since he was here. TJ said that he got rid of him because he reported hundreds of posts (probably mine and other liberal guys on the forum) and was creating too much headache with the mods. He is IAOFM problem. It was funny to see TOG and other posters saying it was me crying to the mods consistently when it was actually one of their own kind.

Daftin' da doodle. How did we afford these FA?

I am JoeMayzed that he hasn't been cut yet. Seriously? Elway says we are in good shape. How does that work?

Does that mean if the cap was 124 million -- and we didn't use our roll over -- we can technically spend 138 million this year?

I just am not good with numbers

I had to put him on ignore, i couldn't take him even in small doses which he was virtually never in small doses

I hated he he would use a guy's football takes and then say he had that take because he was a stupid liberal..... I'm like huh?

Yeah, if that's true then they had no choice but to give him the boot. That reflects a disturbed individual, frankly.

I know some people dislike the IAOFM links but, sorry, this is the best and most up-to-date info I've seen on the cap situation if you're interested...

Why the big panic or the need to know. Didn't Elway respond to the same question last night after the flurry of signings that our cap was fine.

Asked if the Broncos were pushing their salary cap limit, Broncos' front office boss John Elway said, "No, we're in good shape."

I think I heard Elway on the Radio saying Denver still had $69 million worth of cap space. Sounds suspicious to me.

You can see why teams hire guys specifically to keep track of the cap.

We've really only signed one "big name" guy (Welker), and got him on a reasonable contract. The Eagles signed several "big name" guys that year and spent a lot of $$$.

They still want a RB and S, they thought they had Mendenhall in the bag and still have interest in Delmas. Anyone coming in will have to buy in to the short-term side of things.

Some say the Welker deal was a shock but according to reports us and the Patriots were the only teams in the mix for him and Amendola so we were always gonna get one of them.

So you have to think we had accounted for a big money slot WR already.
