The old guy has taken some criticism, over the last decade; but it's hard to question his commitment to bringing a good football product to our town. It's an exciting time to be a Broncos fan right now! It's incredible how dark things were, just two-and-a-half years ago.
I hope he ends up in the Hall of Fame, some day! |

Bowlen has always been a great owner. The detractors are more Shanafans than anything else. Sure, he screwed up hiring McDaniels but he has righted the ship in a rather dramatic fashion, and in a short amount of time.

He and Elway are just making smart moves, and brought the fanbase back from an extremely low point.
If they can somehow manage to work something out with Doom on top of what they've already pulled off. My God man. |

Elway is deserving of props. When Bowlen actually starts spending very close to the cap....consistently....rather than getting rid of some salaries and then replacing them with others with an overall cash and cap outlay which is still consistently below the norm he will get props. He hasn't remotely come close to doing that yet. What did happen this year however which has thankfully forced some spending is the institution of the cap floor. So no....I'm not going to praise him....because he doesn't deserve it.

Great owner. Couldn't ask for more. He's always been the pimp.

I'll eat crow for going along with the idea that we were lowballing Doom because of a cash budget.
So long as we spend up to the cap, I realize some tough decisions have to be made. Welker @ $6 though gives me a sliver of hope they can still work something out. |
