Four teams in play for Nnamdi
Posted by Mike Florio on March 13, 2013, 4:51 PM EDT Getty Images On Tuesday, the Eagles cut cornerback Nnamdi Asomugha. On Wednesday, the first word emerged of his potential destinations. Per a league source, the early candidates are the 49ers, Broncos, Cardinals, and Texans. Asomugha will get $4 million this year from the Eagles, regardless of what he makes elsewhere. The fact that he has zero playoff appearances in his 10-year career could make him inclined to join a contender. Of course, that’s what he thought he was doing two years ago in Philly. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com...ry/rumor-mill/ |

If we sign him, I think for sure that means Doom is history.

Nnamdi would be a great pick up... i have zero doubt that he is still a great player... he went to a terrible situation, oline coaches being used a D coordinators... he has been humbled and i feel like is hungry to win. Champ and Nnamdi with Miller rushing the QB could be very dangerous

also keep in mind he was never a burner more so as a press zone kind of guy, i feel like he has a few more years left since his style of play isnt based strickly on speed

I'd rather have DRC or Sean Smith, but Nmandi will be cheaper.

I'd really rather we didn't have players on the Broncos whose names I can't pronounce.

I rather have youth and speed in DRC but wouldn't mind Nnamdi as well.

I bet he goes to New Orleans and hooks back up with Rob Ryan. His best years were with him in Joakland

Good player. At this point, Elway and company have earned our trust.
Whether they go Nnamdi, DRC, or a mega trade for Revis, I trust their judgement. |

Broncos trade a first and 3rd to the jets for Revis and the whole NFL will be talking Broncos. That would still be a huge pickup. But at this point with older players coming on in FA i'd like to see the Broncos keep the picks. That way in 2 years at least the whole team isn't old.
If we could get Rhodes or Trufant with number 1 pick, or lacy I think it would be huge. |
