I was on the fence about Jackson but why the hell not....get him and DRC or Nnamdi and just party until the season starts.

The awesome part is we still have some guys on the roster likely to be cut so there is money left (Mays, Kuper and Doom)

The contract is much better than I thought it would be at 6min/year. Another good move by Elway.

Agree here. Welker and Stokely are excellent at running routes and finding the open spot, moving the chains. Stokes will probably play again for minimum or slightly more and is better than any of our other 3rd or 4th WRs. Cut one or more of them and keep Stokes. We will definitely be drafting a WR somewhere along the way this year too.

Keep Stokes as the 4th, and draft someone to be the 5th. We don't need Willis, Caldwell, or even either Tamme or Dreessen anymore. Keep one and let Green or Thomas fight for the #2.

The problem with Welker and Stokley on the same roster is you probably don't want either playing special teams. I guess welker kind of returns kicks, but I don't see that happening with the broncos.

Dude made promises he hasn't been keeping until just recently when he brought Elway back into the fold.

Good to see he's opened up the wallet, but acting like he was free with the cash when for the last decade the Broncos have been a top 10 cash revenue team and a bottom ten money spent team is just being naive.

A four receiver set with DT, Decker, Welker, and Stokley would be absolutely uncoverable. And the quick-reads with Welker and Stokley would mean blitzing would be all but pointless.

It's not looking good for Doom but who knows. We will know by saturday for sure though so no reason to sweat it out. Few more days and we will know what Elway is thinking at Dend. They may want to get bigger at that spot and Doomerville doesn't fit.
