I was on the fence about Jackson but why the hell not....get him and DRC or Nnamdi and just party until the season starts.
The awesome part is we still have some guys on the roster likely to be cut so there is money left (Mays, Kuper and Doom) |

Can you imagine how pissed off Brady is about this after just taking massively less money so the team could sign and re-sign players? I can picture his face right now. Tom Brady's tears taste so sweet.

John Elway must have been wearing his leather Fonzie jacket during negotiations today.

I can't believe 2 years at 12 million got Welker when it took 5 years at 31 for Amendola.

The contract is much better than I thought it would be at 6min/year. Another good move by Elway.

Agree here. Welker and Stokely are excellent at running routes and finding the open spot, moving the chains. Stokes will probably play again for minimum or slightly more and is better than any of our other 3rd or 4th WRs. Cut one or more of them and keep Stokes. We will definitely be drafting a WR somewhere along the way this year too.

Elway is throwing down the punk card on the rest of the NFL.

The problem with Welker and Stokley on the same roster is you probably don't want either playing special teams. I guess welker kind of returns kicks, but I don't see that happening with the broncos.

Crazy that he only took 2 years/$12M. What the hell did the Pats do to piss him off that much?

![]() Dude made promises he hasn't been keeping until just recently when he brought Elway back into the fold. Good to see he's opened up the wallet, but acting like he was free with the cash when for the last decade the Broncos have been a top 10 cash revenue team and a bottom ten money spent team is just being naive. |

I do wonder what'll happen with Doom. I hope they can figure out a way for him to stay.

It's not looking good for Doom but who knows. We will know by saturday for sure though so no reason to sweat it out. Few more days and we will know what Elway is thinking at Dend. They may want to get bigger at that spot and Doomerville doesn't fit.
