Eddie Lacy might just be the consolation prize as well, since most mocks figure the Packers will take him if they don't sign a legit starter in FA.

Jackson would be nice, but at what cost?

A back in the draft (Bell?) I'd be more interested in personally.

I do not want Eddie Lacy at all.

Chris Ivory is an interesting RFA, but I think he'd cost a 2nd round pick.

I'm not in love with him, but I think his value is dropping more than it should at this point.

In 2011 Lacy had huge games behind Richardson. In 2012 he put up better per-touch numbers than Richardson had the year before as the lead back for Alabama.

Richardson went 3rd overall in a pretty good draft class. Lacy is being viewed as a late 1st in a draft class short on clear standout talent (this is a year when I'd trade our first for an extra 2nd and 3rd in a heartbeat). That dichotomy has been created because Alabama's OL is finally getting the credit they deserved, but it comes at the expense of Lacy's credibility as a feature back.

We'll see how his pro day pans out, but if he posts comparable numbers at his pro day you could safely argue that had the two of them swapped birth years we'd likely have seen Lacy go 3rd overall last season with Richardson now being talked about as a late first rounder.

If Lacy makes it to #28 it's hard to argue that he won't be best player on the board.

What's the deal with Ahmad Bradshaw? Seems like a great fit to me. Has he priced himself out of the market?

Guessing he wants to get paid like the young RB he is, but he has a hard time staying on the field, so he'll probably only get old RB money.

Lacy and Bernard are the two backs i like for out offense the most if we take a RB high.

Perhaps that coupled with his injury history is what's caused him to fall off the radar early on in the FA signing period.

I'm glad he goes to the Cards. I just don't care for this guy. Maybe he will be more motivated this year having just a one year deal, but the Broncos can find a better RB and one who causes no headaches.

Lacy isn't running in the pro day. He said he will do private team workouts
