# 15
Default Schefter: Broncos close to agreement with Knighton

Broncos close to an agreement with Jacksonville free-agent DT Terrance Knighton, who wants to reunite with Denver DC Jack Del Rio.

Terrance Knighton on his way to visit the Denver Broncos. Would be a nice get inside for Denver and Del Rio knows Pot Roast
https://twitter.com/PriscoCBS/status/311590333844701184

Knighton will be a steal for somebody. He was put int he doghouse for some reason last year. Made no sense.

Not really excited about this. I don't think he that good of DT, and he is somewhat lazy at times.

I'm absolutely on board with this... would be an improvement over Bannan at NT.

I'm not a dline expert, but it was frustrating watching Bannan's non-existant explosiveness, and getting pushed back every play.

would be great but the word is the packers are the front runner, plus, we seem to like average RB's.

Incarcerated Bob said they were leaders, and he's the man with the sources, so I'm sure Denver will sign SJax.

ooooooooohhhhhhhh YYYYYYYYEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!

need to beef up at DT. would mean we don't have to draft a DT and can focus elsewhere.
now we don't need a G nor a DT in the draft unless it's really good value.

Sweet. Let's hope we get him signed! Plus Doom is willing to take a pay cut which is freakin awesome! Doom, Knighton, Vickerson, Wolfe is one of the best d-lines we had here in years!

Chris you are a has been,
Oops a never was,
I betchu got a Q. Griffen jersey.
I'ma flip you cross the USA like Mr. Percy
Harvin Denver Broncos be at the FA auctions,
Stewart Bradley is a gimp,
Vasquez was a pimp,
And I'ma eat some Pot Roast
But I always wanted Steven Jackson.
He rubs between the offensive line like a papsmear,
Brushes haters off like dandruff.
He can still ball long dreads and all,
Day like Peterson and get a sneaker deal son.

Wasn't some idiot on here calling him pork chop, was called out for not calling him pot roast and then went on to defend how we just don't know him well enough to know it's both?

Good times.

I would love to see this signing.

Shoring up the Lines 1st shows Elway is a stud GM.

If Jackson gets signed I would like to see them kick the tires on Bradshaw.

Is Knighton better or a better fit than Sammie Lee Hill? Or is Hill more likely to be higher priced?

He lost his starting spot last season on the Jags, so that's not good, but I see him as an upgrade to some of the other DT's the Broncos play, so that would be good. Vickerson? Bannan? Unrein? I just don't see those guys scaring anybody.

IF he was any good, do you think Jax would be letting him walk I think people on message boards overrate 2nd and 3rd tier FA from other teams.

Hill is FA because Detroit has to much invested in DT in front of him, Knighton is FA because the coaching staff doesn't like what he brings to their new scheme. Of the two I would prefer Hill (or Simms) over Knighton.
