Connor Barwin got a 6 year 36 million dollar deal. While he isn't near the pass rusher Abraham or Freeney he is a lot younger.

Looking at the deals that have fallen, I wouldn't be shocked to see those 2 get something in the 3-4 million range. Market has been brutal for anyone on the DL.

John Abraham - DL - Free Agent

Free agent DE John Abraham will visit the Patriots on Friday.
New England is on the lookout for pass rush help, and Abraham can certainly provide it. With the market price for pass rushers at an extremely low level, Abraham, 35 in May, could likely be had at a bargain rate.

I would rather they signed him then Doom if we can't work out a deal.

Well yeah. Doom wreaking havoc in a Pats uniform would just be painful to watch.

Brandon Lloyd - WR - Free Agent

Patriots released WR Brandon Lloyd.
The move had been rumored for weeks. 31-year-old Lloyd didn't have a bad season in his lone year with the Patriots (74/911/4), but his reportedly "erratic behavior" led some in the organization to believe he may be bipolar. Worse, Lloyd didn't stretch the field in New England and has never created yards after the catch. Lloyd, Darrius Heyward-Bey, and Julian Edelman are now at the top of a stripped-down free-agent receiver market.

So the plan is for Brady to only throw to TE's and his slot receivers then?

There's a reason Brandon keeps bouncing from team to team.

Nice signing for the Giants.

Brandon Myers had a nice season for Oakland last season....79 receptions for 806 yards and 4 TDs.

6'3 and 256 pounds and only 27 years old.

The Cincinnati Bengals announced the re-signing of linebacker Rey Maualuga on Monday.

A source told ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter that Maualuga agreed to a two-year, $6.5 million deal.

Kind of surprised. Heading into the offseason, most reports indicated that Cincy did not plan to bring him back.

It didn't take long for veteran quarterback Matt Hasselbeck to find a new team.

Hasselbeck plans to sign with the Indianapolis Colts on Tuesday, a league source told ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter.

Phil Dawson tweeted he's joining the 49ers. So San Franciso now adds top kicker on the market.

Nice signing by the 49ers.

Phil Dawson is an excellent and underrated kicker....he was 29 of 31 last season with 7 FGs of 50+ yards.

My Browns bud will be pissed about that, as he really wanted Cleveland to re-sign him.

Dawson had been with the Browns since they rejoined the NFL in 1999.

I wonder what his contract is? He has been a great K that is a great signing for them.
