I'm pretty sure we're signing every single FA that's available. YOU'RE ALL SIGNED.

Ugh, just don't overpay...I think he's going to be the most overpaid FA this year. Good thing Cleveland has a lot of cap space and really wants him.

I highly doubt this happens. If we signed him, it would pretty much refute Klis's claim that releasing Doom was cash rather than cap related since Kruger will command an eight figure bonus.

Maybe Elvis pulled a gun on John Fox and Jack Del Rio. We will never know. Percy Harvin threw a dumb bell at Leslie Frazier.

How good is Kruger?

Frankly, I don't see why you just wouldn't restructure Doom rather than sign Kruger. Kruger is younger, but only by two years (27 versus 29). His nine sack total this season was a four year career best and represents more than half of his career total (15.5). There are reasons that I could understand for releasing Doom, but signing Kruger isn't one of them.

Marc Sessler (NFL) is reporting Kruger will go to the Browns. Wallace to the Dolphins. 4 PM (EST) announcements likely.

I think Kruger has a brother in this draft. The dream for Freddy Methwolfe is still alive. All-white DE tandem.

He's good. This is probably the best option I've heard if they are really dropping Doom. I don't understand the money though.

Agree. Doesn't compute. Too expensive.

Doom has to want to accept it also, it's not that simple. Agree with the point though, if we let Doom go for something like this I would rage.

Hes such similar player to Doom and will command a similar salary...doubt we were "in" on him.

I guess this is what happens when one player goes off in playoffs and the other plays like he's a girl.

Not a similar player to doom and is just coming into his own. Doom is 5'11" or 5'10", 260lbs, Paul Kruger is 6'4", 275lbs. IMO Paul Kruger is a much better fit as a 4-3 LDE on all downs vs. Doom who is a great pass rusher, and a better fit in the OLB of a 3-4.

I would be stoked for Kruger. PLus, he grew up in Utah, and going to Colorado would basically be playing for his home team I would think. It would be awesome if this were true. Probably the #1 free agent I would like to sign if we were going to make a splash.

The "run stop percentage" that someone posted yesterday to show how Doom struggles against the run?

Kruger is worse than Doom against the run, according to that stat.

I agree.

I remember watching both our games with them last year and thinking he was the most dangerous player on their defense. Ngata was playing hurt and almost invisible, but Kruger was making quite an impact.

It's not my money, and i'm not involved in the contracts - but as a player, he is a great fit for what we are doing in Denver.

yeah, that was his major issue apparently. He's **** against the run. So why bother with him?
