Because I'm sure that over the past month that getting their draft board set up was more of a primary interest to the team.

They are already going to franchise Clady. I'm sure they are mulling over their options in restructures and quite possibly have went to several players (as mentioned above) in order to do that.

I'm not saying he sucks or anything. I love Doom, just not worth the crazy high salary he is being paid. You and I both know he had a tendency to disappear for awhile this season

Guys are restructuring but most are not taking less money. Nobody takes less until they have to that happens at the end of fa.

If Broncos don't need to scramble and restructure it just means they are managing their cap really well after a few years of that not being the case under Shanny.

Some of the teams that are restructuring, as far as I have seen,are over the cap. Like Pittsburgh,they restructured timmons contract & are still 10 million over the cap.

We're 20 mil under before restructuring. People complain the FO is cheap and then when they don't pass the hat around like half the league immediately, they complain they aren't being frugal enough...

Correct me if I'm wrong but after we tag Clady and sign draft picks that only leaves us around $6-$7 million right? Obviously that isn't a bad position to be in but it's not enough to do a lot in FA.

This is true. Who else does everyone want to sign that we can't sign and need help from the players to get more money

what i am wondering is why no one has been released or waived. seemingly every other team in the league is cutting dead weight, except for us. is this the calm before the storm?

Because teams have to be in compliance with the salary cap in 2 weeks, we are well under the cap so we don't have to scramble to move money into future seasons or cutting players. As it stands we can wait and see what happens, which players get cut, which players are available for trade and make those decisions before we make any roster moves.
