He is not a playmaker in ALA defense, and Draftniks are underrating him becuase of that. If he is there at 58, go for it, but I don't think these guys are that bad.

Zach Ertz TE
Deandre Hopkins WR
Markus Wheaton WR

All available and we are at pick 51 with Washington, Minnesota, Cincy, Miami, Greenbay, Seattle, and Carolina in front of Denver.

I doubt those three make it past those teams. I'm going to see if I can trade our fifth to move up and take one of these guys. We have defensive issues to address, but teaming one of these guys with Peyton makes me drool.

I'd go with Hopkins or Wheaton over Ertz.

I would wait and then trade up in the 3rd round to get Ryan Swope.

Had a trade in the works with Green Bay, but they declined and took Zach Ertz. Seattle won't trade with me and I'm thinkng they will take Wheaton.

Still other good wide receivers on board. Will advise when your pick comes up.

Knew Seattle was going to take a WR, fortunately they didn't take my guy as they instead took Justin Hunter.

Looks like you are going to get Wheaton because I can't imagine Houston going WR again after taking Austin. Wheaton is going to be a very good player. Worst case scenario he is a Devery Henderson, but I think he can be as good as Mike Wallace (without the drops) if not better. He is one of my top 5 FAVORITE prospects in this draft. He is a wet dream for us.

Houston traded with Carolina, so they are actually on the clock. But I agree. I don't have time to evaluate every player, or form a draft board, but when I looked at his tape after Med mentioned him, I heard of him before, I was just astounded at his film. Putting him in the slot gives me goosebumps.

Carolina could take a WR, but I doubt it.

Some other choices:

OL - Terron Armstead
CB - Darius Slay, Jamar Taylor, Robert Alford, Jordan Poyer
DL - Margus Hunt

Carolina took a WR, but they took Quinton Patton. Broncos run to the podium to take Markus Wheaton.

An explosive WR who runs crisp routes, has excellent hands, and a willingness to block. He will play slot WR for the Broncos and be part of a scary WR trio with Thomas and Decker. Simply tore it up his senior campaign and solidified his draft status with outstanding performances in the senior bowl and combine with WR highs in bench press, 20 yard shuttle, and 60 yard shuttle.

Absolutely phenomenal pick, Rascal. I think you got lucky -- but Hunter and Patton are good in their own right, just not nearly as explosive. Great work!

From the looks of it, there are still solid DT on board and some other impact players. I'd stand pat unless you see a run of DL/LB happen in the next 20 picks.

Totally agree with the Pick. Wheaton in the slot or decker in the slot with Wheatons speed outside totally bolsters the passing attack. I would be ecstatic if DEN did that well with its first 2 picks.

Wheaton got over the top of Jamar Taylor (4.39 forty) in Senior Bowl practices during a long bomb attempt...Taylor could not close the distance.

If Sylvester Williams DT North Carolina is still there he would be great.

Montee Ball RB from Wisconsin

I also like Robert Lester S from Alabama.

TJ McDonald S too if he is there.

There looks to be a lot of options available... I keep going back and forth between what your board says and my post here... lol

I am shocked that Le'Veon Bell has lasted this long. I really like him personally, and I'm fighting the urge to trade up for him.

Who needs defense with an offense that I'm building.

Wow yeah, I didn't notice that he was still available either... He would be great in Orange and Blue! Big boy that runs fast for his size. Also did well in the 3 cone drill so has great cuts and lateral movement.

Why do you think you need to trade UP to get him? Plus, when exactly are you going to draft DT? I love the 2 guys you have, but Need beef soon!

I'm not going to trade up for him. I just want too.

DT is not a truly important position for the Broncos. They were looking at some fatboys earlier who will be available in rounds 4 or later. Plus DT is a hard position to learn the first year. I'd rather they sign some FAs.
