Early hype is never bought by these teams FO's in regards to players. Trufant has always been a 1st round talent. |

Rhodes with another 4.41 -- but he came up limping. Not good.

Cyprien did do the backpedal and catching drills and looked great. Much better than Elam.

Swearinger looks goofy running.
Darius Slay 4.31 off his second rip. Rod Sweeting, 4.37 and Jamar Taylor also with the same as Sweeting. |

I actually think Thomas will be the 1st safety taken barring a complete meltdown today. After reading these times and your guys posts, i think there will be a run on CBs and WRs and OL in the 1st. If DEN wants a Trufant or Rhodes they may have to trade up. I dont see Poyer or Slay getting past pick 50. Good news though is lots of talented DTs and RBs available for DEN in the 3rd and 4th round now. Last edited by socalorado; 02-26-2013 at 09:35 AM.. |

Zero chance of that. Kenny Vaccaro has long been the number 1 safety and will probably go in the top 15, if not top 10. Matt Elam is the other safety who could go 1st round. Most projections on Thomas have him as a day 3 pick, though I could see him going on day 2.

Theres no way in hell Vaccaro goes anywhere near the top ten. And Elam isnt a 1st rounder either. Completely disagree. |

Elam's best 40 today was a 4.46 (unofficial) -- which is great. For his size, he should run that. However, he did not look good in the drills compared to those who he was with and the second group of DB was by far much better. Despite his straight line speed in the 40, his movements on the field were not fluid and he had heavy feet. He easily stood out as average compared to those with him on the field. Just my two cents.
The guy is simply not a first-rounder and it would be shameful to select him. |

how the hell did these 40 times get off so bad? Williams from 4.25 to 4.42? Trufant from 4.31 to 4.38, Milliner from 4.31 to 4.37.
