Thought this would be a fun thread for the draft fans on the board. This is the thread where you can start calling your shots early. Got a player you wanna pump up and think will be a game changer in the NFL? Pimp him here. Predict a pick? Do it here. Stuff like that. This is where you can get crazy and lay it all on the line.
More to come. |

Corey Lemonier, DE/OLB, Auburn will get drafted much higher than most people anticipate.

Le'Veon Bell will be offensive rookie of the year, provided he doesn't wind up in Oakland, St Louis, Buffalo, Jets, or Jacksonville.

DJ Hayden will be drafted in the 1st round.
1 QB will be drafted in the top 20, 3 QBs will be drafted in the 1st round but Barkley won't be one of them. Neither Minter, Matt Elam, Carradine nor Te'o will be 1st round picks. |

I agree about EJ Manuel. Not only picked higher, he's gonna end up being the best QB in this draft. Ain't sayin much with this class but he'll be good

Te'o goes late in the second round.
Five offensive linemen go in the top 10. No running backs go in the first round. The Broncos trade back into the early part of the second round. The team that they trade with selects Ryan Nassib. ![]() |

In a addition to my Corey Lemonier prediction, I'll predict:
Arthur Brown, LB, Kansas State will be an impact player and a stud for whatever team drafts him. I think the QB class in this draft is being underrated and will produce a few more starters than is being anticipated. Le'Veon Bell is being undervalued. I'm guessing there are some teams keeping very quiet about him. I could easily see him going as high as the top of the 2nd round. Tavon Austin will end up being the offensive rookie of the year. Tyrann Mathieu, CB, LSU is going to surprise a lot of people. I believe his game will translate to the NFL level if utilized correctly in the right scheme/system. If he can keep his love of weed in check, he'll be a playmaker in the NFL. This is a great draft for edge pass rushers....Denver should be able to find someone in the first three rounds to help absorb the loss of Elvis Dumervil. Gavin Escobar, TE, San Diego State will make an immediate impact on the team that drafts him as a pass catching stud. |

why not!
We trade back with the Bengals. They picked Maualuga a couple of years ago, he's a bust, and Burfict isn't Purfect, they really want Te'o. They think he's the greatest thing since canned BEER! For our #28 pick they give us their 2nd rnd #5 and 3rd rnd #22 plus next years 3rd. They draft Te'o he's a complete bust. falls for an Italian model he meets on the internet ( a guy) moves to Rome and is treated the way he's always wanted to be treated. We get Lacy and Barrett Jones in the second we get the big guard from Kentucky, Warford?, and Tj McDonald in the 3rd. How's that for dreams? ![]() |

Te'o joins the list of players that slip for reasons to come into the NFL with huge chips on their shoulders and wins DROY.
Lattimore starts the season off slow, but goes onto finish with 1000 plus yards and 10 rushing TDs winning him the OROY. Tyrann Mathieu leads all rookies CBs in INTs and returns 2 punts for TDs. |

The WR everyone will be talking about at the end of the season will be Keenan Allen out of CAL and not Austin out of WVU

Ryan Nassib will have the best rookie season of the QB's and best QB of this class down the road.
Patterson (Tennessee WR) will be a Heyward-Bey mega-bust Tavon Austin offensive rookie of the year. Alec Ogletree defensive rookie of the year. Lattimore plays this year. Last edited by Rother8; 04-09-2013 at 07:30 PM.. |

Mathieu is drafted in the 3rd by Cincinatti or Oakland. Gets busted for possession and misses time.

Geno Smith won't be picked until somewhere in the Mid 20's...
All the QB needy teams (except the Jets) have at least improved their QB position to a place where they don't "have to" draft a QB, especially one who isn't a sure fire franchise QB. If he gets by the Jets who have multiple needs (with Revis to be traded) than there isn't another team that needs a starting QB in the first round so look for someone to trade back up in the late first round to get him. |

1. Jarvis Jones will NOT be a factor in the NFL for 3 years, if at all.
2. The middle round WR's will be a lot better than ALL the WR's who came out last year, and outperform many drafted ahead of them this year. Markus Wheaton, Aaron Dobson, Chris Harper, and Tavarres King will play right away and could post better numbers than any WR last year as a rookie on the right team. 3. Cornellius Washington will be an Impact Left OLB next year if he goes to a 3-4 team. 4. Eric Reid becomes the all-pro Caliber Safety from all the hyped Safeties in this class, and Phillip Thomas is the second best. 5. Stepfan Taylor will impact the most of all the rookie RB's, because he can play all three downs, pro pass protect, and catch the ball. 6. Jamar Taylor becomes the best CB from this class, because he can play all types of coverage and tackle coming out. 7. There will be less Pass Rushers from this class than people think, and only a few will ever impact at the next level. 8. This will be the best year for DT's since 2003. Heck, it just might be the best ever if inconsistent guys like Hankins and Jenkins make it work instead of turning out to be the next overrated Ron Brace. There is talent all over this draft like I have NEVER seen in 15 years. There are legit NT's, big time 3 Tech's, Solid 4-3 NT's, and some tremendous 5tech's who I believe are more DT than DE's. There is talent all the way to fifth round who are better than current NFL starters at certain positions IMHO. I have a lot more, but let's start there. Elway trades back again out of the 1st round (I predicted it last year too). The trade partner uses the pick on a QB. Broncos trade #28 and their 3rd rounder for an early 2nd rounder and an early 3rd rounder.
