nice pick on Trufant, was hoping he'd fall to 26, seems like a really hot commodity right now and his stock should keep rising as we get closer to the draft

The more I study Trufant, the more I think he's a top 10 pick. Great production, great measureables, great bloodlines.... The kid's got it all.

He is probably going to be this years, Stephon Gilmore. People were thinking he was a realistic shot for us and then he blew it up and adios amigos.

I don't think he fits a 3-4.. So if he goes to a 4-3 team your gonna look much better for making that pick..

I thought about it... but the more and more I watched him I just didn't like how much he got pushed around. I would take Kawann Short over Richardson. But I guess that's just me and what I see. He just isn't strong enough.

He's a freakish athlete that can fill many roles on the team. The Chiefs have holes all along their d-line and Richardson will be on the field as long as he has a breath of fresh air.

Bob Sutton is known for a varying style of attack. I expect both a single and two gap approach and even a little 4-6 out of the Chiefs this year. Richardson gives him great flexibility. The Chiefs were near the bottom of the league in sacks last year. I expect them to get aggressive and Richardson is one of the best penetrating DT's in this draft.

Typical OM draft; All the beef goes in the top of the first round.

The Bengals have Geno Atkins who is a stud, but I was half tempted to take Richardson if he was on board. He and Trufant were in my Top 15. I don't know if he's the right fit for KC, but he is a great player. One more pick to go and I'll be ready!

I was worried he'd have been your pick. I honestly wanted either Trufant or Richardson. Would have gone ILB if both gone, but I knew I needed to get up a few more picks to ensure one of my three was available.

Honestly, didn't really want to take him. There is another guy I was REALLY tempted to take, but Trufant is just took perfect of a BPA pick for the Saints here, so I had to shelf my dreams of making a fancy dark horse pick that surprises everyone when he goes even higher on draft day.
