If ______ isn't available, trade down...

With all the talk of trading down with our pick of the first round, I thought it would be interesting to see who we all think is worth the 28th pick and if they aren't available, then you would want us actively to look to trade down so we get good value for our pick.

Let's start with the following 15 players definately being picked before 28...

Sharrif Floyd
Dee Milliner

Dion Jordan

Lane Johnson

Then for me, (in order of preference) if

Marcus Trufant
Damontre Moore
Datone Jones

aren't available, then I want us to trade down.

With that being said, I'll go on record right now to say that I think we'll be picking at 28 or sooner!!

For the most part, I agree with your first 15 players (although Geno Smith could be a surprise slider) -- so, beyond those 15, here's who I would draft at #28 (in order of preference):

Sylvester Williams
Kawann Short
Desmond Trufant
Datone Jones
Tyler Eifert
Tank Carradine
Eric Reid
Margus Hunt
Bjoernn Werner

Once Werner was off the board, I would definitely try to pull back about 10 to 15 picks.

i see no reason to trade down. the value at #28 will be great either way. now if a team badly wants a QB and they'll give us a 2nd and a 3rd or 4th then maybe you do it.

Problem is, if smith is there at 28 he'll be there all the way until rnd 2. Qb needy teams know they can wait beyond 28 and still get him
