Default Seahawks are shopping Richard Sherman

"John Schneider, in a fit of rare, on-the-record candor for an NFL general manager, confirmed this morning that all those Richard Sherman trade rumors are true."

Somehow he'll get traded to the Pats for a conditional 4th rounder.

Talib is the X factor. I don't see John giving him another deal after shooting himself last offseason then having back spasms and missing games.

I wouldn't mind flipping Sherman for Talib as long as we had Sherman locked up.

I saw an article where one GM said Sherman could be beaten when he is on "the Island" fact is any CB can be beat one on one. If you think about it, that one play at the end of their Championship game the year we played them was more of the WR not making the play because the ball was there. Had that guy made that catch we Beat San Fran in the SB and no Sherman is just another dude. Oh well.

I do worry that one of these days Talib is going to drop off like Champ did at the end of his career only I don't see Talib doing so with any class.

Cmon man, he's not just a Cover 3 CB, that's just not true at all. He can cover short routes pretty damn well also.

Comparing Talib to Sherman, Talib will get burned more than Sherman, but Talib also makes bigger impact plays. That would be a tough choice to make. Both have a big mouth, but Sherman doesn't appear to be liking to hang with gang bangers, and he's also 2 years younger. If you could trade them straight up right now, who would you take? And don't factor in that Talib is currently a Bronco, giving him the edge there. If both guys were on other teams and were FA's and their price was the same, and they're at their current skill level, age, off the field, all of that stuff, who would you take.

I'd probably take Sherman right now. At least I don't feel like he could do something stupid enough to get suspended for the season. Talib was pretty close to that I would guess, a few times.

C'mon dude. Seriously? Who's been burned more in the last 2 seasons? Sherman was not elite last season. He was not taking his side of the field away consistently. No comparison with Talib.

Talib is still justifying his contract:

$11m cash /$12m cap for this year and next, $8m for 2019. I bet he plays that out.

if our front office is doing there job we will be shopping talib i know he could potentially be facing suspension but he was the best corner in football last year and is contract is very good for a team to trade for. maybe a desperate team would offer a 2nd. he is a better player than sherman and talib's problems have been off the field but in the locker room he is a leader and is teamates love him.

it would be a big loss but i think it would send a clear message from elway and the franchise despite the lip service that we compete for world championships the reality is we have decided to take our bumps with a young quarterback paxton or trevor and reload for a superbowl run in 2018.

Have you watched him the last 2 years? Also, have you even seen the Jags defense play?

The thought of Sherman and Talib together with Crabtree across the field is at least a fun and devious thought to contemplate. Its got to be Crabtree's worse nightmare.

If the Broncos had a need at CB, they should look into a trade. But they don't have a need there.
