Default Marcus Lattimore declares.

despite the injuries he is entering the NFL draft. When if at all do you see him being drafted?

2nd round, only because of the injury history.

They just said they fixed everything in one surgery and that he is already off the crutches.

4th round, he won't be fully back by the time the draft rolls around like Wills M was, but he's got enough of a pedigree that he'll go top 4 rounds.
maybe even 2nd if he shows enough. would love to take a flier on him and develop him.
before the last 2 seasons he's been a stud and workhorse.

How hard is it for Denver to pass on the guy if he is there late in the 2nd round knowing we need a running back?

I don't blame him. He will probably be shelved for the whole year anyway as he tries to recover. As some have already mentioned, he is already off crutches and rehabbing. His stock obviously is going to depend on how quickly he continues to progress. Who knows, maybe he will be like Adrian Peterson and be able to come back much quicker than anticipated.

As much as I like him, I don't draft him with any of our top two selections because he will not have an impact on the field right away. Third round? Maybe. Fourth round or later? Sure. Not even sure how many teams will have him on their boards until the medical aspect of him is checked out at Indy and beyond.

not hard at all. unless he has a Peterson or Willis type recovery he's not gonna be worth a 2nd rounder for us. 3rd or 4th yes.

I don't know man it would be hard to pass on that kind of talent. Also Studesville was with Buffalo when they drafted McGahee and we have McGahee now. What better team to help Marcus with his recovery then us

yes but it will be hard for Lattimore to show he's fully back after 2 consecutive huge injuries.
McGahee was coming off of one and healed in near miracle time.

This is one of the better RB prospects to come along since Adrian Peterson. All Day couldn't stay healthy in college either. Teams will look at the talent, so I believe McGahee is the precident.

As Requiem said earlier, he's not going to play in 2013. But he'll be an absolute beast in 2014. This is similar to what McGahee did.

It makes all the sense in the world for us to draft him in the 2nd Round. We still have Knowshon for one more season, and McGahee clearly still has something left. We don't *need* a RB next year, but we might in 2014. And, Lattimore would be a perfect compliment to Hillman at that point in time.

So, yeah, draft him in Round 2 (If he's even still there), and let him study and rehab for an entire season so that he's on point with blitz pickups and the playbook by the time we would need him two years down the road.

I'd definitely rather have him long term than any other RB in this draft. By a mile.

And how cool and helpful would it be to have McGahee mentoring through his injury.

I wouldn't be surprised if he goes as late 1st or early 2nd. Reminds me a lot of Frank Gore, who also had knee problems coming out but is still one of the better RB in the league.

If he's there at the bottom of the 3rd round, you do a little Tiger Woods banging skanks fist pump and run to the podium to make the pick. Then you let him rehab as long as it takes (maybe even give him a pseudo red-shirt year). Unbelievable talent if he can get even remotely right.

Bell (MSU) declared today. He is one big boy. Thunder to Hillman's lightning in the future.

Everyone here knows I'm a Knowshon fan and have been thankful for McGahee, but another guy like that in our stables would be great.

I really really like Bell! I mocked him to us after all! He reminds me of a bigger Jonathan Stewart. Powerful runner, who has surprisingly soft hands, great in pass protection, and surprisingly agile for a big back!

He would be a great complimentary back with Hillman..

Le'Veon Bell is the second coming of Michael Bush. Would be a very nice backup RB or committee guy as mentioned by others. He's a 4.6 guy though, he won't touch anything close to Jonathan Stewart's 4.37 speed. Which is why he'll go in the 3rd-4th round area.

I could see a scenario where we might draft him to pair with Hillman like Bmore suggests. I'm not sure we'd take a RB in the first three rounds, but if he's still there in the 4th, then perhaps. He's not in the same stratosphere as a healthy Lattimore though.

Still, I don't think we take a RB this draft regardless of value. I think we'll be pretty happy with the McGahee, Moreno, Hillman, and Hester stable we are working with now. Fannin still has a shot if he can stay healthy as well.

Fannin runs like a vagina though. He reminds me a lot of that Chris Henry ? Guy who was drafted by Tennessee several years back.

I really like latte more and can almost guarantee he will be a redskin. This is a shanny back all the way....don't be surprised to see him end up there.

I don't see him as Bobby Turner kinda of back - one cut and go. On yahoo they compared him to former CU grad and NFL back Chris Brown, more of a straight power back with some ability to cut back.

Lattimore said he would be ready for the 2013 season. He is already jogging underwater.

This dude is going to be like Marshawn Lynch... Power. I will be curious to see how high he goes considering the injury.
Still would rather have Lacy even if we have to take him in the 1st or 2nd round.
